I assume you are talking about Caribbana in Toronto? If so than it is the the first weekend in August, and there are a lot of hype parties that weekend. Too early to tell what's going to be bumpin that weekend right now, but as it gets closer to the time, you'll know.

OK, maybe you should check to see who responds, before you go off about me being from NYC. I am from Toronto, I've been to Guvernment more times that I can count, and face it, Mark Oliver is for the kids from the burbs, like Oshawa and Burlington, I'm sorry is that where you're from. But don't get me wrong Guvernment is HYPE, there really is no other place like it Canada, and the actual place is amazing with 7 rooms and patios. But everyone has there own opinion.

I see that being a newbie you are trying to start some drama on the message boards. But unfortunately you will realize that NY is where the drama is. You just won't get people going here. That said, you're right Guvernment is the the shit, anyone who has been to it will agree, it is one of the best clubs in the world. I myself have been to both Twilo and the Guvernment and the soundsystem at Guvvie is way better than Twilo, everyone goes on about how good the system is at Twilo, well it is, until you experience The Guverment. But if I had to choose whether to be at Guvernment on a Sat night or Twilo, it would definitely be Twilo. You can't beat the crowd or the DJ line up, and it is NYC. Oh, as for Mark Oliver, he is just getting a bit too commercial. We so many more DJ's that are more talented than Mr Oliver.

Most definitely Acapulco, stay at the Copacabana, it's right in the middle of everything. Much more cheaper than Cancun, it's not dangerous at all, same as any other Mexican resort town. Make sure you go to Palladium, Andromedous, Enigma and Disco beach. You'll have a great time

I know what you mean. Even though T.O. is the fu*cking shit when it comes to the scene, the fact is that we can't afford to bring them in on the weekend due to the dollar, we would have to pay around $70-$80 cover if not more. But at least they come!! It could be worse, you could be in Alaska!!!
