  1. Very excited for the news Andy. Glad to hear about the change from Battery Park. I will definately be rolling through with my crew, and I'll definately get muh chicas to roll as well. Be a great day for music and friends
  2. I was there last night too chillin with my friends. We had a great time and the music was awesome. Definately a good preview to the summer. Great seeing you Andy.
  3. I went last weekend It's a really fun place, but the door is definately tight.
  4. I'm assuming you got them, if you didn't PM me.
  5. In all fairness, the tables went quick and there was only so many to begin with, hence the increase in table price. On a normal night, this would not be the case at Pacha.
  6. I'll upload it later tonite when I return home from school and send you a PM.
  7. LoL Robbie should have stopped once he made Feel This.
  8. You have to remember that Pacha isn't THAT Big a of a club compared to say Exit, and plus because it is him going back to that spot, it will be a mad house. The higher ticket price is a way to shoo some people away, otherwise it will just be out of control trying to handle the crowds.
  9. Am I to assume that this is where Warehouse used to be?
  10. Nero still around? He used to post here a lot and then disappeared...
  11. I'm so tired of hearing people complain that clubs are not what they used to be. I still go out on a regular basis, as well as Gabe, and we both always have a great time. I feel I have atleast a little merit being that I have gone out for about 6 years, and this is not nearly as long as some of you. But hopefully some of you agree with me, or atleast respect my opinion. The music is still great in the city, there are still many great clubs around the city (try going to the places besides Crobar and Spirit), and there are some great people to meet. Many people are mad that Tunnel and Twilo closed. Well yea, they closed because they were fucking crack dens. One of us would have eventually died if that place hadn't been shut down, so can you blame the city for doing what it did? There were always Asians at Twilo, there were always Asians at the Tunnel, there were always Asians at Limelight. And you know what; the ones that we see today, most are very friendly. Ask for a cigg, I'm sure they'll give you one. I see just as many cracked out Irish and Italian people as I see Asians at clubs. So why Stereotype? We should come together and enjoy NYC club life instead of degrading one another. Are some of us living in the past because we were used to going out at 3am and staying out all night and going to afterhours and heading to hear Jonathan at the SF till 4pm? Those days are over. NYC club life is still very much alive. There are still parties out there that have the vibe, do the research: 718 sessions, the special Cielo parties, Teddy P at Cielo, the special events at Show, Joe Claussel at Love, Louie Vega Wed. at Cielo, Sullivan Room peoples always showing the love, the PS1 parties in the summer, Blue Sky Thursdays at Sin Sin. I could go on and on all night. A lot of the smaller more intimate parties with this great vibe everyone speaks of die because no one supports the parties. Gabe throws his Stimulus event and no one shows up. Then there are the complaints that the music sucks, the crowd stunk, the door price was too expensive, the bottles of water were 6 bucks? Yea well, support the other parties. Imagine if you lived in Houston, Texas or Pheonix, Arizona. Would you be complaining then if you had say maybe two house music clubs in the entire city? If people like Alan T, Anthony Lamont, Kevin Aviance, Larry Tee, etc. weren’t throwing and entertaining parties? This isn’t aimed at anyone in this thread so don’t take it that way, I’m not here to bash on people. In fact, as you stated djufonyc, you have been clubbing almost five years longer than I, so who am I to judge you? You were just making a post about your memories and how you relate a current party to your past, and that is great :):) It is just though, how many more of these posts can one read before asking, is enough enough? I’m simply saying, go out and enjoy what the city has to offer. Stop going out with a negative attitude before you even enter a club snickering because DT is playing at Crobar and not at Twilo. Support the parties, the music, the DJ’s, love one another and stop with all the bullshit because the minute hand does indeed move quicker than you think. -Jimmy
  12. What is the problem with Boris playing at Cielo? He obviously won't be playing the same style he usually plays out at clubs, so what is the big deal? Nice one Benny -skooby
  13. Private party and has already been sold out, so unless you have a ticket, don't bother showing up.
  14. Well when I went on Saturday, there was a guy playing bongos to house music. If he is there on Wednesday, I'm leaving LoL AKA: get rid of that guy, he ruins the beats. lol
  15. I'll most likely be there next Wednesday. Wouldn't step foot in Quo again on a Fri or Sat. but Bailey should provide some good beats Sounds good
  16. Who is the owner? Wasn't Larry Tee doing the door there?
  17. Good luck man, afterhours parties these days are hard to keep going. Best of luck.
  18. Should be a good time with Cevin Fisher, Rob DiStefano (Founder and Owner of Twisted records) and Adam Freemer as well (his two new releases are bombs, Tenaglia plays them both). Rich Woods will be ripping it up in the basement, a.k.a. the Vault, which I hear is a REALLY nice room. Rich has opened for Danny Tenaglia numerous times. I'm not a promoter, just trying to spread the word about a new spot since there really aren't too many nice, smaller more intimate venues left in the city besides Cielo, Opus, and Sullivan Room. Sol should also be off the hook tomorrow with Doc Martin doing his thang. Haven't seen him in a while. Lots of great parties coming up man, NYC is indeed alive and well :)
  19. It's a joke.... Funny thing is some of you take it seriously and actually spend the time writing up a response.
  20. And there indeed have been some dumb ones LoL
  21. Whatsup Raz Haha remember me from that South Street Seaport gig with Carl Cox Haven't seen you since Vinyl man LOL (not even Arc) Hope you are doing well. Jon is still a biotch LoL
