1. Blondie...Are you serious? Where's the house and when are you leaving? (I'm sad that you're leaving...but if I can help you out... :-) and save myself a broker fee in the process, it might just work!) I'm applying for jobs both here in San Francisco and in NY right now - I'm getting desperate. I applied for a great *sounding* job at Netscape today - running their Music and Radio channel. If anyone out there knows of companies in Manhattan that are looking for creative, business oriented, product management, producer types - I'm all ears! The blackouts have been a pain in the ass lately, but San Francisco is a great town. I would miss it if I left, but I'm ready to head east for a while at least. I'm sure I'll miss the 70 degree days in the winter ...but the good news is that I eventually plan on having houses in both places to solve this dilema. ::grins:: Jen ------------------ Imagine a world in which there is no time. 2. I'm working on getting back there as we speak... sending resumes all over the city. I'll keep everyone up on where I end up. Big hugs, Jen ------------------ Imagine a world in which there is no time. Only images. -- Einstein's Dreams
3. ::sigh:: Just wanted to tell everyone that I was thinking of them this weekend. Somehow, nothing in California is the same after having visited and partied in NY with ya'll. Here's to a good year in 2001 - and a new job on the east coast! Till then - if you're in the San Francisco area, let me know! ~ JenX ------------------ Imagine a world in which there is no time. 4. Suprisingly, I didn't use my normal screen name for this board. Not sure why... Again, remembering back with all you other ole timers -- back to the good ole days on IRC - I was Moonshyne. That name has followed me for a while. JenX evolved out of the "Wu Name" Web site. Our friend's started adding X to the end of our nicknames, and my name worked well b/c of the play on words. ~ JenX ------------------ Imagine a world in which there is no time. 5. Hmmm... can't claim any of the found items - but if someone else found my grey scarf (it was originally tied to my purse) - I would die to get it back. If you or anyone you know has seen it, please let me know. Muchas thanks - awesome night and best wishes to all the new found friends in NY. ~ JenX ------------------ Imagine a world in which there is no time. Only images. -- Einstein's Dreams
6. Hehe... damn, my cover's blown - I'm not really from around here! Either that, or my brain has just been reduced to jello along with my legs. ~ JenX ------------------ Imagine a world in which there is no time. Only images. -- Einstein's Dreams
7. We adopted a friend last night somewhere around 5 AM in Soho - Steve. He too had lost his car, and was having one helluva time getting his straw into his orange juice. If you're out there buddy...hope you find your car and get home safely! ~ JenX ------------------ Imagine a world in which there is no time. Only images. -- Einstein's Dreams
8. I'll concur with the KNOW how to party.. and it's quite likely I'll be back, or better yet...never leave! I know most of the revellers are still doing well at after-hours parties, so until we all regain consciousness... ~ JenX ------------------ Imagine a world in which there is no time. 9. I've lived in SF for three years, but never done New Year's there... I'm sure a great time was had by all - but not as much fun as my SF butt did here in New York. I can't say thanks enough for the incredible party. ~ JenX ------------------ Imagine a world in which there is no time. Only images. -- Einstein's Dreams
10. Anything mixed with carbonation -- the bubbles really do go to your head and get you going faster. Think gin and tonic, 7 & Seven, even Long Islands if they remember to add the splash of coke.
