  1. I think vibe is such a relative thing. People look for different things. The vibe at Exit is absolutely sick for some people and not so much for others. The thing that I enjoy most about Exit is that the vibe can differ depending on where you're situated in the club. Everywhere you go though you are met with an energetic and crowd consumed by the atmosphere. I think that to make a strict judgement as to whether Exit has a "vibe" or not, is absolutely impossible. It's all about personal taste, so to some extent this debate is pointless. Something that would however be quite beneficial to all would be descriptions of the "vibe" of different clubs so that those who haven't found their niche yet can have a better idea of where to look. Just a suggestion.
  2. In response to a couple people at once: I love Tunnel personally because I love dancing. The music on the main floor is a little harder house and less commercial than some of the other clubs. There's a very large main dance floor and several smaller rooms that play trance/house and hip hop. There are a couple of areas with couches, but it's more of a place for dancing than lounging. The crowd in general is very high energy as is the music. The new DJs as of tonight I believe are 2 big DJs from California. They do raves and large parties out there. Their names are Chris Lewis and Dane, and are absolutely worth checking out!! I know a whole bunch of people who you can get in touch with if you have more questions. Message me for phone numbers!
  3. I am sooo psyched to sample these new DJs at Tunnel this Saturday! Every time I go I have the best time, and this Saturday seems set to blow all the others away. Come guys! I'm dying to meet some of you who seem to be always looking for a good time! And if you need a list I can hook you up with my buddy Theory! His E-mail is : therelapsetheory@hotmail.com Can't wait to see everyone this Sat.!
  4. Beautifully said hon! I think people down Exit because it can be quite overwhelming. Personally I have an amazing time every single week and never miss a weekend when I'm in New York!
  5. They're two DJs from California. They do huge stuff out there. Their names are Chris Lewis and Dane. They spin pretty sick beats. All you'll want to do is dance. I promise!
  6. I think we need to remember the context that we're talking about here. People go to clubs to get drunk, dance, and usually to get noticed. The crap we as females strap and glue ourselves into tends to borderline on obscene half the time. I think sometimes we ask for it honestly, and I'm guilty of it too. I think the actual amount that beauty has to do with the respect you're given in life is infinitely less than it is at some club, thankfully.
  7. They're two rave djs from California. The do huge stuff out there. There names are Chris Lewis and Dane. Go hear them. You won't be able to help but dance. It's impressive.
  8. I was there 2 weeks ago too. Missed this week though with the new djs. Heard it was absolutely sick, and the floor remained packed all night. I'm a huge fan of dressing up on fridays and living it up, but nothing compares to the energy of tunnel's hard house. If ya love to dance and just let loose, I still swear there's no better place.
  9. I have good word that there is going to be decent amount of renovation on tunnel in the near future. The budget apparently is pretty good for it. What exactly is going to happen is still being debated, but deffinitly watch for a facelift in the near future! Rock on Tunnel!
