1. Babies!!! Listen, I think you're all way skeptical about the potential of this place. I can't say enough good things about the music... the line-ups are always the best in the City. The crowd that goes these days is NOT predominantly teeny-bopper ravers. It's getting progressively better looking and classier. The vibe amongst the people is really excellent, the crowd just doesn't happen to be gigantic, and it's largely because of the ignorant negative comments that get made on places like here. Honestly go and look around you... disregard for one second the fact that the actual place doesn't look like EXIT and remember what you're there for, the party. Set foot on that main floor and give the beats and chance and then if you don't like it that's your business. Stop comparing it to what "had been" that's an old memory and it's time to make new ones folks. Time to pop some bottles - Ness -
2. Honey, that's the point if it's just a recreational drug it'll be outlawed quicker than you can say boo. Explain to me the detriments of pot that are more than any cigarette, and we can't even smoke up legally. It's kinda depressing. All I know from the research that I've done is stacking a drinking is mad fun, but also mad dangerous, so I cut that out real quick. I'd love for it to really happen, but let's be realistic. The government is so against the club scene in general, and now we have right-ists in charge which makes our cause that much more impossible. But if in anyone knows something that really is legal and can get you the same effects of some illegal substance... bring that shit on -Ness
3. It's totally 420, and there better be something good going on. -Ness
4. Tunnel... Mike Rizzo, Jackie Christie, Louie DeVito afterhours Music should be really excellent! That's where my friends and I will be. Come, it'll be a really great time! -Ness
5. sick sick sick!! I promise And Louie DeVito afterhours should keep the place bumpin' all night!! I'll be there, so should you! -Ness
6. Wow, somebody's not paying attention... guestlist = $20... I'm in for that.
7. I thought your set was great this week. Just keep it coming.
8. Not only is this an issue in the job market, but in the application process for colleges as well. The quota system that's in place in these institutions deprives the companies and schools of looking objectively at qualifications to determine the best applicant, and it deprives skilled workers of eligibility for certain positions. It's essentially reverse-discrimination... and that promotes inequality just as much as classic discrimination. Besides, isn't it nicer to have landed a job or been accepted to a college because of your merits and not your race or gender? Believe me, I'm the furthest thing from a bigot, and am an absolute promoter of equal rights and equal opportunities, which is why I believe that these quota laws are absolutely hypocritical and a step backwards for the equality cause in general.
9. Have you seen the flyer?! It's April 7th at Tunnel. Who's in?! I'm totally psyched. That's one hell of a line-up, and with Louie DeVito afterhours, that room should be bumping al night! There should SOOOOO be a meet up for this one! - Ness -
10. Sooo much a joke... not to mention totally impossible, praise god for the constitution. But you deffinitly had me sweating there for a little while. I just looooooooooooove April first!!!
11. Hey all, I've just been hearing a lot about these parties, and sometimes I wonder who's just a promoter trying to bump up their party. I'm an Exit frequenter, but I was just curious from unbiased opinions, which one everyone likes and why. I love Exit, but I've never been to Factory. Opinions please? -Ness
12. I miss you too honey!! And you know I'll be back as soon as my freaking school gives me a minute to breathe! To all the crew, you guys are the best and I miss you tons and tons.
13. Carbon underage baby... and been addicted ever since. That club will always have a place in my heart. It introduced me to house, and I was so upset when I heard it burned down a couple of years ago. After that it was this crazy club called Cricket somewhere in Irvington which is a Polish club and was just really fun. I rediscovered New York last year, and have been loving it ever since.
14. Well I had a blast at Exit on Friday, but that was cuz I chilled in the white room all night. I must agree though that the rest of the club was an absolute madhouse, not to mention it was really dirty everywhere. I deffinitly have say though that the white room is beautiful, and the music variety is really fun. I can't wait to go back. -Ness
15. Yay! I'm coming too! I haven't met any of you yet, but I'm actually coming home from Boston just to party this weekend! See you guys there . -Ness
16. It's at either 3 or 4 am... they post a sign on the door sometime during the night.
17. I'm so psyched for this party and the white room! I'm coming home from Boston and it's going to be totally sick! The white room looks really amazing, and I want to get in there before it starts to turn grey.
18. Ahhh the age old question. So I post on the NYC board because that's where I party. Plain and simple. And I have no problem living in jersey cuz I get to party in the city and live in a normal size house with a backyard. See there are perks.
19. Oh oscars... I'm so torn. I love both Gladiator and Chocolat. I'd be satisfied either way.
20. I'm an Alpha Delta Pi in Boston.
21. One of the few days a year preprogrammed for absolute fun and debauchery! Wahoo! What's everyone doing?? I believe I will be at Tunnel with the amazing Corbett. Totally looking forward to wearing green and getting stupid! Who's with me?!
22. It's like almost 3 am and I'm sick of doing work. So I felt like being positive, and I was just wondering what makes everyone else the most happy in life. I'm a singer and I'd deffinitly have to say rocking out to a good girlie song does it for me. I think a close second would deffinitly be popping a bottle of champagne on the roof of Exit in the summer when it's open. Obviously this can be club related or not, but just let it be fun. Anyone?
23. Hey hon, I'm kinda new too, but I'm having fun. Some of my friends have been to the meet-ups, I myself haven't made one yet, but soon. Have fun!
24. Juice heads will always make excellent eye candy in my book. Let them play... they rarely get off their stages and podiums to bother anyone anyway. I have no problem ogling a few six packs.
