  1. Wahoo!! What can possibly make a better St. Paddy's day!! I'm all psyched up for this one. Let's pack this place and dance all night!!! And of course keep the booze flowin'!
  2. Wow do I know about falling for your best friend. Life is all about taking chances, and although I'm not normally a risk taker... this one if the feelings turn out to be mutual is absolutely worth it. Being with your best friend in the world is enough of an amazing feeling, that if the opportunity arose again, I would take all the same risks. Of course the feelings will be more escalated than any normal relationship, so there will be more at stake. You'll see though the time you will spend with that person has the possibility to be so amazing that it's well worth it. So my opinion is go for it hon. It'll either pay off and make things better, and if it doesn't work out exactly that way, you'll know that at least you've been honest with each other, and it may even make you stronger.
  3. Missed it last night... ... heard it was really good though. I made it two weeks ago though! NERO you rule as does Renegade. No one creates a vibe like you guys! Everybody come out to Tunnel Saturdays and dance your ass off! - Ness -
  4. I kinda went backwards... I started at EXIT, and now I'm disovering Tunnel. I have no idea what it used to be like back in "the good old days" but I do know that I'm having fun now. That's the best info I can give you. I go on Saturdays. Fridays for me are still reserved for EXIT. Might as well give it a shot... it can't hurt!
  5. First of all I'm really psyched to see a lot of the Gods and Goddesses sticking up for the "little ones" of the board like me. My response to this is, if people knowing each other is such a concern and people are so interested in conversing in an exclusive fashion... why not use e-mail?! That's one of the beauties of the board - EXPANSION - and new faces an opinions. Also I want to appologize on behalf of all the newbies if there are in fact some that say some nonsense, but I must admit that there is also the occaisional assanine comment made by an older member too. Besides, choosing to come on here we deal with that. This is a forum of opinions and we all have to just expect them to flow. Hopefully I'll get to know all of you soon, and then these kinds of responses won't just be coming from a name with a "New Skool" under it. - Ness -
  6. I totally hear you on this one. I have managed to go either way, and honestly prefer my UFOs, but have recently been converted by peer pressure. But I love the guys that just dance circles around me (even in my UFOs) and a guy that I can actually dance hard with. There's also this level of approachability that you see in raver guys. I would actually talk to them. That and they look way more natural than the beefcakes stuffed into their black Ts... not that they're not fun to look at. Hmmm... you all deffinitly have me thinking about whipping out those UFOs this weekend.
  7. DJ Renegade and DJ Nero. Renegade is there every week and Nero about every other week to have guest DJs in between. Saturday is the night to go. The music is really good. Excellent beats, and harder than you Exit trance-y type of thing. Very danceable. Hope I helped.
  8. Tunnel!!!! SOOOOO much fun, and many on the board will back me up on this one! The music totally kicks ass and it's an up and coming scene so it gets progressively better every week, and it's mad fun to be one of the originals. DJs Renegade and Nero have been tearing ish up! I'll be there the next two Sats. in a row. Trust me you'll have a blast. If you wanna meet up PM me and we can work it out. Hope to see you there. - Ness -
  9. Yeah it is, and I looked online for any info about side-effects and basically all the sites say something to the effect of "we really don't know what they are." I was just wondering if anyone had heard anything through the grapevine? - Ness -
  10. AMEN girl! I'm only 19 now, but I plan to be partying till I die. Did anyone else catch that guy on Howard Stern last night who was the 95 year old club kid from LA. That guy was awesome!
  11. Thank god for the hot bartenders! They're like the closest thing we girls have to the scantily clad dancers all the guys get to ogle at!! At least they're required to wear their tight black shirts! [This message has been edited by nessalove (edited 02-25-2001).]
  12. Lately Tunnel's been really fun on Saturday nights. That's where I've been frequenting these days. It's not over-packed which is nice, and the music is good, and there's still plenty of crowd to mesh with. That would be my suggestion. I'll deffinitly be there.
  13. Ok so I took one once and it gave me a really fun energy buzz, and then I drank one drink and it was even better. My friend just told me that even one can cause a heart attack when combined with physical activity and alcohol. Does anyone know how true this is? My logic is this stuff is still safer than drugs and you can't get arrested for it. Thoughts?? - Ness -
  14. Does anyone else notice that this is beginning to sound like a religious war?! It's kinda ironic actually. But seriously, we're all people who like to freaking dance, and despite what everyone says, we are all legally allowed in "each others" favorite clubs. So whatever. Everyone just go have a good time, and stop talking so much shit. It just leaves a nasty residue on something that's supposed to be fun. - Ness -
  15. Going to have to go with looks. Just from pure experience, a relationship without physical attraction is doomed from the start no matter how nice, sweet or even loaded he may be. I have no problem with a broke cutie.
  16. LOL That is sooo true. And the point you make about young love-making is also totally valid. For me, coming across a good lover at this age is rare, so the increased size deffinitly can't hurt. Although emotionally speaking and in terms of a relationship it matters nill. Just my 2 cents. - Ness -
  17. Hey hon. I'm kinda new to the board too, so I know how you feel that no one knows you yet. I must admit that I enjoy the hype of the giant club... ie EXIT, but lately I've been having a really great time at Tunnel on Saturdays. The music has been really great lately and the crowd has been very dance focused. It's been a really awesome time, and I'd highly recommend it!! I hope to see you there soon!! - Ness -
  18. It was exactly the right packed. There were a lot of people there that stayed most of the night, but you could still breathe and dance which is what I like. But it was deffinitly more packed than the week before. Have you been back yet since they started re-inventing the party? You should deffinitly give it a try next week.
  19. I know exactly how you feel. Once in a while everything can be going absolutely fine, but you just feel like curling up in a ball and crying your eyes out. I usualy just wind up sleeping it off cuz I can never figure it out. It's a really pretty day though. I recommend some chocolate and some fresh air. But the chocolate is deffinitly necessary. Feel better babe!!
  20. I hear ya! Last night was totally sick. I am soooo loving this tunnel party these days!!
  21. dude, calvin, I think my friend hooked up with you. I was there too last night. And it really was an awesome night. I really have to meet up with all you guys some time!!
  22. No offense hon, but that's the biggest load of text book patriotism bullshit that I've ever heard. I'm all about patriotism, but there is no reason to have an airstrike on a country that has shown no direct agression. We bombed them for working on their defense system. If that justified agression, we would have bombed the hell out of Russia during the cold war, but why didn't we?? BECAUSE THEY CAN SHOOT BACK!!! Do you honestly think Iraq can't? The biggest problem with Iraq is that we really DON'T know how equipped they are because we have so much trouble getting in the damn country to check. This maneuver is not going to help that effort. That's for sure. Besides Iraq's threat, we as the United States are usually the ones that take care of the countries that fall victim to premature agression. Iraq's people are starving and essentially it's not their fault they have a bastard for a leader, yet their really the ones that suffer during our agression. I find this entire operation a disappointment as an American patriot. It just goes to show what happens when you voluntarily elect a guy with too large balls for his size brain as leader. I really hope this crap stops, and don't kid yourself... we didn't show anyone who's boss... we showed the world that we've got a hot-headed irrational president, and that we're obviously scared of a country that's plagued with starvation, and has almost no economic prosperity. And also, the man said he'd get us back...and frankly, we'd better all keep our fingers crossed that he's bluffing.
