this is great 1) my car was recovered 2) i looked further into it me and a few friends drove around the area where it was stolen yesterday for a few hours and found out one of the kids names that stole it what car he drives an the clincher was that we found out one of the kid's dads owns an autobody shop... it's pretty crazy I dont know what kinda shape the car is in, the cops said it wasn't stripped but they also didnt look under the hood so who knows... saleen c'mon man you're in your thirties dude.. you shouldn't be online all the time go have kids or something

Has anyone on this board ever actually been to one of these webster hall friday night parties?? I've been to webster hall twice and swore i was never going back both times... What kind of crowd is there on friday nights? how are the girls? how strict is id for guys? etc. etc.

what's up with all the arc purists?? I hate that place 1) it's tiny 2) no alcohol 3) it just feels like a big room.. it reminds me of tramps which is now centro-fly i believe, but with a slightly higher ceiling, it seems like a better place for having bands perform

The weather was shitty... but in a way it was better off that way.. I went to Randall's island for warped tour 4 years ago i think maybe 3 i dunno.. It was a beautiful day but since the ground was dry there was dirt everywhere.. i had to buy a bandana to wear around ym face so i wasn't breathing in dirt. not fun... Don't get me wrong.. i get all filthy at parties from the funk on the floor but randall's island is a horse fo a different color. You really can't win throwing an event there..... Also, if it's on randall's island it has to be during the day. There's something wrong about partying during the day... i'd much rather it be at roseland or something like that, where it can atleast go til 3 or 4 instead of 10

ahh fuck i have no luck with tiesto... when he spun in nyc last month i was graduating the next morning and now he's spinning in philly on friday and i have a fucking cpr class at 9 in the morning on saturday fuck!! Does anyone know what time his set is? For those under 21 i went to transit a few years back to see deep dish and some bouncer on the side of the street snuck me in asking for a 20 in return.. i saved money and was allowed into the club even though i was 20.. so try that.. it's worth a shot Deep dish was terrible but the club is pretty decent

Does anyone know where johan gielen will be spinning? Even if exit is closed i don't just think he'll skip over new york city... He has to play somewhere else in the city or at least nearby.. he's been blowin up this year.. it would be a shame if he had to miss a gig on a friday night in the biggest city in the world because of lame ass exit.. Anyone hear anything about cosmic gate, dumonde or scot project coming to nyc this summer? I would love to see any of those groups or scot spin they're sets are all outta control

The last two weekends me and my niggaz have been going out to bridgeview yacht club and paddy mcgees out in long beach on long island. Those places are good if you wanna get out of the city.. they're outside and right on the water. they've both been free for the last 2 weekends, i don't know if it's because of the weather or what but this is gonna be our spot until they start charging at the door.. hope that helps.. dan

Yeah those are the exact subs i have. My friend has them with a sony 760w amp. I like the way it hits. Im not looking to win competitions really.. i just want something that hits. I'll check that amp out though. What kind of subs would you recommend? and also.. what kind of wiring kits would you recommend? One friend said rockford fosgate another said radio shack . radio shack isn't an option but i wanna know if it's worth spending the extra loot on a superior wiring kit? thanks dan

Hey i just graduated college and figured i'd upgrade my system with the money i got. I already bought 2 pioneer 12 inch 450watt subs with a box. Im just wondering what kind of amp would go well with these subs. I dont want to underpower or overpower them cuz i heard they blow out easier that way. I drive a hatchback so do i really need a dual bandpass box? Will the sound suffer or will the subs be easier to blow out that way? I have a regular box, but i got it for one cent with the deal i got from circuit city. I'm sure i can probably exchange it without a receipt and then get the dual bandpass.. im just wondering if it's worth the hassle. Thanks for all the info in advance..
