there's some place called sin sin i think... 5th street on 2nd ave.. nice little two floor lounge upstairs they spin funky house downstairs is hiphop no rap anthems or stupid danny teneglia shit.. good beats and the prices arent bad.. it's definitely worth checking out.. if you walk another 8 blocks up there's bar none on 13th st and 2nd ave it's more of a college type place.. there's a lot of girls there but all the herby ass indian kids dancing up on them ruin everything.. just take the path train into hoboken.. that's your best bet.. once you get off the path there's bars everywhere.. river street black bear bahama mama those places are all decent..

although those clubs come recommended i wouldn't recommend them for candyravers.. I dunno i dont think wearing that kind of stuff will go over well at any of those places.. you can probably still get away with ufo's at exit but i think that might be pushing it

Who is spinning at this shelter party? If it's a decent lineup i'll have to check it out.. i haven't been to a decent party since tunnel probably.. I hate payin 30 bucks to see two big dj's and like 20 local dj's id rather there just be like 10 solid dj's istead of a hundred up and coming dj's.. i hope micro is spinning i havent seen that guy in years.. he's the shit

Is it worth going to Bar A (from staten island) if it's pouring? I heard tuesday's are a good night but i dont know if its the same when it's raining. Any info would be nice.. also an address wouldn't hurt either i've only been to belmar a handful of times.. don't really know my way around yet.. thanks in advance

The bars and people on the north shore aren't THAT bad.. For the most part most of the guido's driving 80 thousand dollar cars come from the south shore (huguenot, annadale, woodrow) I never have and never will go out in the south shore to Level 1 or any place like that.. i see enough meatballs going to jersey and the city never mind going to the south shore.. to anyone that lives on staten island i recommend jimmy maxx in westerleigh during the week... nice crowd a little older probably 25-28 or maybe even dannyboy's although a lot more meatballs from the south shore have been going.. I heard good things about cargo but if im going out on staten island i wanna stay local so i can walk home.. luckily im like right around the corner from beer gardens and dannyboy's i also heard good things about afternoons but i havent been there yet I think the wave was a decent venue.. someone could probably fix that place up and make somethign out of it.. anyone see Christopher Lawrence there a few years back?

I heard bar a is nice on tuesdays it sucks that it's going to rain tomorrow.. for anyone that went is it worth traveling from staten island on a tuesday night it's a little over an hour for the drive.. any directions would be key...

Were there a lot of people up on the third floor? I like listening to good music, don't get me wrong, but if noone is there to dance with it cancels out the good music and then i would have to go downstairs which leads me to... reggae.. was there reggae in the main room? i can enjoy hip hop but when i see people dance to reggae i wanna vomit. Im not into the whole guy trying to get a cheap feel on a girl and then watching his friends join in when they find a girl who'll let them do it..

Someone else mentioned how frankie bones trainwrecked last july 3rd.. I don't get it.. i've seen frankie bones spin plently of times i never remember him being bad.. i mean his late closing sets are beat but that's just because im not into his afterhour shit.. I've been to parties with mistress barbara before but i don't remember seeing her.. there was one at tunnel like 3 years ago but i left right before her set.. what kind of shit does she spin because the 2 other headliners are beat (dj rap and i forget who else) The only people i would like to see who i havent seen since thanksgiving are pleasurehead and x-dream but they will probably go on before i even get there

i went to webster hall around 3:30 on saturday night after this bar we were at on staten island closed.. i was skeptical about going to webster hall but decided to give it a go again.. everytime i leave that place i swear im never going back again.. this time i think it's the truth on the main floor they were playing shit like the grease soundtrack in the basement you had rasta's grabbing white girls forcing them to dance and then trying to finger them as they tried not to dance with them... not my scene plus the music was beat... the crowd is lame and the bouncers suck i saw this one bouncer pick a fight with some kid on the stairs and then he proceeded to throw the kid down the stairs knocking over innocent bystanders on the staircase... trash!! It's a shame that place is a nice venue..
