hey all, i'm sure this has been done before but since i'm relatively new, i just wanted to see what everyone here does.. me -> work for a financial services firm doing risk analysis/consulting and you?

trying to figure out how to get my life together...blew a couple of hundred bucks on a company trip 2 days ago which was my partying money for the rest of march through early april..need a scheme...

man. just dont sweat it. the only true thing that matters is if you can still deal with your day to day activities. i'll tell you as a former habitual(as in everyday) smoker. there was a time in highschool when i thought i had a problem and i quit for a year and a half. but i started up again because i realized that it i was doing it because it was something that i enjoyed (kind of like how people like watching sports..haha)...and as far as smoking by yourself...that is something i have truly enjoyed my entire life. it definately allows you to get in better touch with your subconscious. many of my friends who still smoke, smoke alone(and we're not talking about losers. law school & med school kids, bankers, etc)...sorry for the rambling but pretty much, as long as you're able to deal and still be productive every day. do whatever floats your boat. and remember this, moderation is the key to doing anything. and a j will get you high too, and is healthier for you than blunts... hope this helps ------------------ communication is the key to understanding....

ok, so i'll agree with you on something...the breakbeat tracks he threw in were HOT(the couple that he dropped)...not like i want a whole set of breakbeat by any means...but i dont think there was enough variation in his set and that his tracks did not hit as hard as i expected...especially like the last hour when he did his out there and back thing...he didnt even play his own hottest mixes...i tend to like innovation from a dj but still them being "themselves" so to speak and i couldve used more of that from him..thats all about papp...definately a difference in opinion...have friends who only still go to twilo for pvd and they were madd impressed with papp's set...hopefully pvd can do that same thing for me... ------------------ i'm only doing this once...until the second time

here we go...i actually like pvd a lot, but like shadowchaser(i think) said, the pvd i hear on his 12/17 berlin set or the pvd from his 4/23(homlands?) set or the seven ways pvd are not the same as the one i experienced last month...the level of energy of his records and the way he crafted those sets were the shit, but i was really disappointed by his performance recently...track selection was pretty blah...and he really didnt take me anywhere(as oppossed(sp?) to diggs, pappa, dd, dt, and the countless others who've captivated me with their sets)...i'm going to check him out on the 13th just cause i hope that was an off night, but i really cant say that i feel him as much as i did before i saw him live... this is the exact same thing that happened to me with tiesto btw...love his albums/live sets but was disappointed when i saw him live...are there any "trance" dj's that i wont be disappointed in when i hear them live?...damn...its looking bleek ------------------ i'm only doing this once...until the second time

korzo- me and my friend were back by the fan(which wasnt on!)before the way to go down to the bathrooms etc...chilled there for a while... this was definately the perfect spot for a tuesday...nice chill comfortable spot...i was seriously impressed w/ the sound system for the size of that place...and only $5...damn! a lot better than some of my twilo nights i must say(this is my pockets talking!)...those guys will definately be doing some twiloing sometime soon... would live to see tomeii open up for s&d...cause you know s&d would have to be at the top of their game ------------------ i'm only doing this once...until the second time
