    Weed, on a related note to what you were asking... I would suggest that even if you *can* commute, you should live on campus. everyone gets all huffy about living in the dorms and all but it isn't so bad and it really makes the college experience THE college experience. It is a great way to make friends with the other people at your school and the independence from your parents is reason enough to stay on campus - esp since you will be close to home anyways I'm sure if you want to stop home it won't be such a big ordeal. Just my two pennies...

    Actually, I think what PGiddy was getting at was that Darude is known for some poptrance crap that was popular among a bunch of fist-pumping guidos at Exit. No offense, I am not saying that to be rude or nasty or anything but that is the general conception at least amongst the people I know... hence why the whole post was dripping with sarcasm from the start...

    maybe you could try moving away from the ultra-pop dance stuff and put on a few shows here that involve some sort of funky and/or vocal house. Doesn't have to be the most obscure stuff out there nor the most underground deep tribal yada yada... because obviously you all have a mainstream audience to cater to and you can't play anything too non-commercial. However, it would be sooooo much better if you people tried to even skim the surface of a more house-ish style of music rather than hip hop and synth pop. Vocal house and funky house, I find, can be palatable even to mainstream audiences, even if the music itself isn't mainstream. Also, quit playing the same 3 songs over and over and over. There is an endless array of great stuff out there, and even mediocre stuff, that is better than hearing the same five tracks repeated until one reaches the brink of insanity....

    ...I know all of you are ready to throw a huge party because you missed me sooooo much this whole time!!! :tongue: (waits for obnoxious return quip from smokesum)

    Seriously though - I got back Thursday night, and despite being very very jetlagged and a considerable bit sad and missing my lovely little city and my lovely bf, it is nice to be back. And of course, I would love to hear from all of you that I haven't been able to talk with much (thanks to the dire lack of internet services) so drop me an IM - once again, I am always online as before :D And Quoth, I didnt forget, I will call you, I have just been asleep 90% of the time I have been back thus far.

    And hi to the new people as well - I noticed that the majority of people are unfamiliar names :eek: where have I been?!

    **Oh yeah and...** I am planning on throwing a little party to celebrate being back and I hope to see you all there, not sure where it will be yet but I will get things all arranged. You'll have to suffer through me DJing at it though, I insist ;):D

    I wish Limelight would just be... Limelight. And I also hope that along with the estate name they scrape off all the cushy little VIP wannabe acoutrements and just let it be dark and dirty like it used to be... there are quite enough of the fluffy clubs out there already.

    Don't know if Spirit catches me. Sounds just kinda... weird. Then again if it doesn't cost a ridiculous amount it might not be such a bad idea just to try it. I don't think that "new rave" idea sounds very accurate, though.
