  1. this looks like it could have potential... Are the Faderfox people shipping to the U.S. yet?
  2. Just finished putting our pics up from the conference... Pics from... Roger Sanchez @ Space AVB @ Spin Carl Cox @ Crobar Scumfrog, Superchumbo & Humpty Vission @ Prive' Urbana Records @ The Townhouse Hotel here's the link Miami WMC 2005 Pictures
  3. Have to agree about Pump Up the Jam... Roger Sanchez dropped it on the terrace and the place went nutz. Are you sure it's Morillo's mix? We were @ Armani Exchange and the DJ there was playing the same track... it was a white label from Germany he told us.
  4. I hated the Techs CD player when I got to use it. Just get the Pioneer 800 or 1000. You'll be much better off.
  5. Anyone know where I can get a copy of Audio Bullys - Bang Bang?? Dancerecords.com has it listed but they're sold out right now.. Anyone know of any stores that have it? Or if someone has a copy they could send my, that would be great also.... I'd be forever grateful
  6. My friend just sent me some really good pics from Tiesto last week @ Crobar... I gotta get myself a new camera, my pics never come out this good. check them out...There's more @ the link below. Tiesto @ Crobar Pics
  7. Just wondering if Sasha will be using Ableton live when he spins w/ Digweed while @ the conference? I still haven't had a chance to really see Ableton in action in a club environment and would like to check it out. Also, do you guys know of any other DJs that will be using Ableton while @ the conference?
  8. that lineup looks pretty good to me... I'd much rather have a few djs than "100 DJs @ Space" What do they each get an hour... I'd much rather see Roger Sanchez/Sander K or Morillo bust out a 6-8hr set than a bunch of DJs for an hour each. If I wanted that I would just go to Ultra.
  9. from Space's website... 10. some crowd pics from last night... place was insane!
  11. I'm gonna say Jupiter Ace - 1000 Years also. I just played this last night for the first time and it blew the club up.
  12. Prydz is the hottest producer this year by far.... Not just for Call on Me... Lovin every track he's remixed and produced this year... Skylark and Clamaran turned out a ton of quality tracks this year also...
  13. Anyone want to give some advice on booking the smaller venues in Miami for WMC.... Either Bars/Clubs or Hotels.... any help would be appreciated...
  14. does anyone know where I can get info about clubs in Orlando for tonight??? I'll be in town for the night and am looking for something to do other than sit in my hotel room...
  15. yes it's worth it.... We came in from NY and thanks to the hosts out there, BilLe and Brian we were treated like stars out there.... Skipping lines makes you're night so much better than waiting all night
  16. it won't automatically do it for you. what I do is set a knob on my midi controller to control the tempo... Give it about a 5 BPM range and then just turn the knob to the desired BPM.... There's no actual "ptich bend" like a turntable. Certain new mixers like the A&H 92 and Ecler Nuo send a midi signal so they might actually match live to the record but I haven't tried that yet...
  17. out of the 2, I would say ableton is much better at handling loops and such in a live situation.... That is what it is designed for... You just drag loops in and play them whenever you want, all perfectly beat matched.... I have all the tracks/loops that I'm going to use pre-warped and then add them to my traditional DJ set (turntables/cds) wherever needed.... I've only been using it a few months now and might bring it to the club one of these nights... I've only used it @ home & on internet radio broadcasts so far. Reason is more of a production tool in my opinion....
  18. Just figured I'd post some of the pics for you guys to see.... the rest of them and pics of Vegas & Tangerine can be seen here... AfterhoursNY.com
  19. We were @ Tangerine that night... Music was pretty good, but we could also hear the music from inside sometimes so it sounded like a trainwreck even though it wasn't. It wasn't the whole night, just every once in awhile
  20. What a night!!! Easily our best night in Vegas... Ice is a beautiful club, great lighting & sound and a great layout.... BillLE HOOKED US UP big time... We get there and skip all the lines, and get escorted right up stairs to the vip room... We end up getting the table right above the DJ booth so we can see perfectly right down into it. It was great.. Nothing better than being able to skip everyone in line!!! The music was pretty good all night. Oakenfold played some pretty good tracks but nothing really new or groundbeaking... After Oakenfold, DJ Farsheed got on and played some great tracks... Kinda reminds me of how I spin. So maybe that's why I like his set better. Overall it was a great night and all my thanks goes out to BillLe and Brian @ Ice.... I'll def. be looking you guys up the next time we hit Vegas and will let everyone know that you guy's helped us out big time!! I have tons of pics from the night... just have to clean them up and then I'll have them posted probably later tonight...
  21. all the people in the plane must have been in on it too.... and they're familes too... Hey if we can trick everyone into believing that we've been to the Moon, why couldn't we trick evreybody about this?
