sorry, a case of posting while high. if you're using windows 98 or up, there's something that come with it called 'personal web server', that should be pretty easy to use to set up your webserver. you'll also need your ip address, and you'll need a nameserver to resolve your domain name. (sorry, still high. i can't think in simple terms now)

you need to get webserver software for your computer. if you're on windows, you can get apache (www.apache.org). you'll need to do a little reading to figure out how to use it. Or you could get a second computer, put together a small ethernet network, and set up a dedicated webserver running FreeBSD, Apache, PHP, and whatever else you want ------------------

IMHO, If it's purely about the music, then make a tape or burn a CD and listen to the music in a walkman, while dancing in your apartment. Why would anyone go to a social setting (i.e. thousands of people in a small space), and then get upset when people are being social? I can understand not wanting to be bothered sometimes, but that's why clubs exist, so people can be around other people and have a good time. I'm not trying to insult anyone, but this attitude sometimes seems a little bourgeois when it's directed at the "fair weathered fans" that "ruin" the vibe.

All drungs should be legal. All that money used for police and prisons should be used for treatment, rehab and education. It would cut down on crime too. Right now, the mobs, gangs and drug dealers have all of the money, and they'll do whatever it takes to keep that money.
