I've never closed although the next time I go my friend and I are planning to stay til the end. Last time I went from like 3:30-10. I could have stayed a few more hours but my friend came down too much and she was driving home so I didn't have much of a choice. Around 8:30/9, JP was just amazing, simply amazing. and it just kept getting better and better. I DID NOT WANT TO GO! I hope he's as good when I go next weekend. I used to go there alot when i was in college. I always had a great time. The different rooms are great, I loved the 80s room, but I found that the guys in the Hip hop room were too touch feely and if I want to hear really good house music, I'd rather go to SF. Plus it closes too early. I'm usually just getting the SF at that time. I also feel like it's a younger crowd as well as too touristy. ------------------ You're only young once

He's an awesome dj but I go b/c I like being there, I always meet cool people, and the whole place just has a good vibe. Although I must say, I wouldn't bother going on a Sat. if he wasn't be there. The world would absolutely SUCK! I sometimes think about what sense I'd prefer to lose if I had to lose one. If you look at it from a clubbing perspective, I'd go with smell b/c you need the following: Hearing: Most importantly, gotta hear JP spin Sight: Glow sticks and lights Taste: I love eating grapes and candy and most importantly: Feeling: MASSAGES!!! Ahhhhhhhhh! Yeah baby! WITH lotion....oh yeah! sorry for the deviation but I think I'd be SO depressed, esp. if I knew that those things once existed and I couldn't have them any more. If you can find this product called Nads, they sell it on infomercials and on QVC, it's great. It's the same concept as waxing only it doesn't hurt nearly as much. I hear ya Vampie. I went to Cancun for spring break when I was a junior in college and naturally, I had the best time of my life. I'd love to go back to Cancun b/c the beaches are so beautiful and the weather is perfect and there's so much to do, but at 24, I really don't think I'd want to be there with a bunch of 19 and 20 year olds (no offense to anyone 19 or 20). I have friends down there now who are my age. They've never been to Cancun, so I think in their case, it's the best time to go considering how notorious it is for awesome spring breaks. In spite of the age differences, I'm sure they're have a kick ass time. Sure as hell beats sitting in an office all day! ------------------ You're only young once

I don't get why I can't get KTU here in Manhattan! I really can't listen to z100 all day. That station drives me nuts after a while. And I can't stand 92.7 after Howard goes off b/c it's a rock station and that drives me nuts after a while too. So I end up listening to PLJ. Have you ever noticed that that station is kind of depressing? All I want is KTU, dammit! Is that too much to ask? ------------------ You're only young once

...I hear ya! i don't know how people remember songs after a night out. My friend will call me up if she hears something on the radio and ask, "do you remember this from the Factory?" and 9 times out of 10, I don't have a clue! When I was in college I once fell down a flight on stairs @ a party some friends threw and passed I out at the bottom. My poor friend thought I was dead. Evidently, she started slapping the shit out of me and when I woke up and puked all over her and myself, she managed to get me in into the bathroom where i dry heaved for about an hour, and then got me into some pjs so I could pass out. That night I learned just how good of a friend she truly is..... and not to drink the punch at parties. ------------------ You're only young once

I don't know. I'm not a big fan. There's nothing so terrible about it but I don't think there's anything so great about it either. I found the guys to be very touchy feely, I can't stand that. I don't understand why "I am dancing with my friends" or "can you please stop touching me" are such difficult concepts to understand for some guys. ------------------ You're only young once

I don't think I'm a terrible dancer but sometimes I feel really stupid. When I go out, I usually wear boots. I'm 5'8" to begin with, so in my boots I'm almost 6'. I feel like I stick out like sore thumb b/c so many girls are short, even my clubbing buddy, sorry Em. Hands down, SF! The place is just awesome. I don't think any other club compares. Jonathan Peters is da man, you've gotta love him (I'm so jealous of the ppl in Cancun who are blessed with his presence this week. Elena I hate you) World isn't so bad either. I mean, the music doesn't even compare but it's a good place to go before the real fun begins at SF. Plus, since they redid SF, there are more places to just hang out, chill and enjoy. ------------------ You're only young once
