The downtempo master will be pleasuring the crowd again with an über-smooth blend of downtempo and deep house.
This time Tantra is the lucky venue, and as well as booking great local talent, they're keeping the drink prices down for the event. Music kicks off at 10 so you won't have to stay up past your bedtime on a school night

After some rather tasty performances at Living Room and Rain, phrankadelic has been summoned to the hallowed turntables at Tantra, to follow in the footsteps of Mark Grant and Joeski by spinning the über cool Wednesday party.
The vibe at this night is just too nice to talk about, so you should really come down and sample it for yourself. Congrats to Frank, and props to Tantra for supporting our local talent.

I heard the commercial for the competition on the radio today ----> here's my question: how many entries did the junkies get? On one hand I hope the competition takes off and does well, but I would hate to half to sit there and listen to hundreds of sh*tty mixes!

Nah the quality is actually pretty good so far. We're open for entries until saturday - so we'll see how many then. Probably around 100.

The beach has been crying out for something a little dark n deep for late nights. My money's on a few of the big DJ's to stop by there after sets at Crobar / Space.
Plus you can't go wrong with Craig DeMO.

We're the regular clubbers dude! The final judges will be 2 from CJ, 1 from Street, 1 from Party, Oscar G, Louis Puig (or someone from Space), and possibly a record exec.

MacFunk is right about the DeckJunkies not being allowed to enter.There will be an NY version soon, but the idea of this contest is to launch the career of a Florida DJ - that's why it's tied in with local media. If we opened it up to the whole country we'd never get through all the demos!
Don't worry the NY DJ's will get their chance too.
