Last Memorial Day there was a Hip Hop festival in South Beach. From what I hear from friends, it wasn't exactly the best time to be on the beach. The point of this thread is I am planning a bachelor party around the same time. Does anybody know if this festival is coming to Miami again? I would like to avoid that weekend if possible. First thing I think Edgar should do is have his own website. It's all about promotion and this would only help. Since it's basically an information only website, it's cheap and easy to maintain.

It's all about how you promote yourself. Better promotion usually means bigger crowds, bigger pay.

I supported Edgar every time I came to South Beach. Not because he is friend. He isn't my friend. I have met him a couple times, but I support him because I like his track selection. Now I do like Oscar G, but don't have a real reason to go to Space anymore that's all. Props to Space if they can fill his spot successfully. In my opinion, he made your club what it is. Shit, the only reason Saturdays were SO succcessful because anywhere in America Saturdays are always more crowded than Fridays.

I am so glad he decided to wait until Frosty was going to be back on the beach...Jan 25th. I am sure I will see all of you CP's there.

Duane King completely sucked. And I saw only about 45 minutes of his set. Edgar was one of the main reasons I would go there on Friday's and I don't even live in Miami.

A buddy of mine, who is friends with Edgar, called me and told me. I think they (including Edgar) are going to Crobar tonight. That's about all I know.

Word on the street they frickin fired Edgar V, one of the best local DJ's. Place is going to go downhill and in my opinion has been for some time. It was over something stupid like using a logo or something. Came from a very reliable source. Who's next Oscar G?

Honestly...caught the last hour of Jules set. I would have to admit the system was piercing loud and his mixing and track selection were decent/average. He was just warming up the decks for a better DJ.
