Best doorman?
Brian from Boston.
Doorman with blonde hair at used to be at Shadow that Shroomy was referring to. His buddy Danny (dark hair) who used to be a doorman at Shadow and I think as well at Space.
Met these guys through a buddy of mine from Ft. Lauderdale (Gerrin)
These guys are cool to hang with and are very respectful to everyone.

Call it coincidence but I was in Miami both June 17th and August 12th weekend. While I didn't witness the August 12th problem, (I think your response said August 13th)
I did see a problem on June 17th.(sunday morning) as I was leaving the club. If it was the same night (David Morales) who I thought SUCKED...the guy being arrested was a complete asshole, wanted to fight, and deserved every bit of what he got. I think the August 12th weekend was when it was 120 frickin degrees and they had the festival with Oakenfold.
Not that I am condoning ganging up on the guy. But, the police did nothing wrong in that incident in my eyes on June 17th. I assume Shroomy's "article" is the same incident.
Wasn't everyone taught that if you're being arrested to not resist.

It's been a while since I have been to Miami (unfortunately) I was wondering how much does it cost to get VIP (minimum). Coming down in a week.

You'll never see these guys in Miami clubs because they probably don't live in Miami and probably are < 21. Either that or the door guy won't let them in due to obvious reasons.
Can't wait till the patio and to feel the "sunshine" on December 7,8.

Shit...you and about half of NY want to move. Good luck landing a job in South Florida in this economy.
If you're serious about moving then save the money and just do it. Most employers in South Florida will only look at locals.

New to the board and read all of your messages to see what's going on, etc. From Cincinnati and come down to Miami usually once a month. Everyone seems like they are loving Miami. I'd move there but economy blows and I would stupid to leave the job I have right now.
My point...
I can see how when one gets use to living in an area, one might bitch about the clubs, etc. Let me tell you that all of you are very lucky to have what you have, the local talent, the clubs, beaches, etc. Not many places have the pull of international DJ's and can sit on the beach year round. To me, that's paradise.
