Foghorn=anti-music If you need a fucking foghorn to get your ass up, then you really don't give a fuck about the music. I don't recall Digweed using it during his 5 hour set at Space...and the Space residents blow that fucking horn constantly. So annoying.........and the crowd goes crazy!!!!...give me a fucking break.....imagine going to see an orchestra playing Beethoven and then that horn blows during the climax of the song.....same shit I think.......not only that but I'm there listening to a bad-ass track and when the BEST part of track comes on....I can't hear it because the DJs(not Digweed but the Space residents) think it would be best to cover that part of the song with a loud obnoxious horn that's supposed to energize the crowd....The music is more than enough. It's what it's all about, right?

There are many many Rabbitheads over 21 that love Rabbit in the Moon. And I'm not talking about why they won't perform at Space as a group. I'm talking about when they spin. T. Confucius is a bad-ass house DJ and Monk is outta hand with his hard-booty-ghetto house and breakbeats and occassionally drum and bass(which I don't care to much for). Monk is booked as a DJ all over the country. T. Confucius is really busy now as he is working on the final touches for the first full length all original Rabbit in the Moon album so that's why he doesn't DJ that frequently. Those guys have an awesome vibe to them and it would be great to have some of that Rabbit vibe injected into the Space crowd. Rabbit in the Moon create incredible MUSIC...and I do stress the word MUSIC....A lot of people that go to Space don't even give a fuck about MUSIC. At least Digweed brought some fucking awesome vibe and MUSIC to that club last month. I would love to see Monk spin at Space and knock some sense into some of the crowd that goes there. "Face down-ass up, that's the way we like to fuck!"

It's all opinion, and mine is that I hate that kind of trance he spins........he's the anti-Digweed.

I've noticed a real lack of Rabbitheadz up in this board. Don't forget that Bunny and T. Confucius of Rabbit in the Moon are also going to spin. I have never heard Bunny but T. Confucius spins some tasty fucking house grooves. It's about time the Rabbit invades that damn Space place......need some good vibes up in that mofo and the Rabbit in the Moon crew does just that!

Well...Space and DVOX are still thwroing an event on August 11th at Space........the talent is different.....but something will still happen....I don't think the final lineup has been announced yet.........this information was provided by a contact at Hallucination Recordings......

The latest news is that Miami Mekka will still be happening but without many of the previously scheduled DJ's. I got this information from Hallucination Studios. Bunny and Confucius from Rabbit in the Moon are going to be spinning, but we still do not know who are the DJ's that are going to be there........this may all change though......it's all pretty fucked up right now...Tampa was cancelled for sure.......this information was given to me at noon today from Hallucination.

I've burned 50 copies of my latest mix CD. I've been submitting copies to promoters, etc such as Shadowlounge, Crobar, Space(good luck there buddy!!!!).......This CD is called DJ Meng/Transcendental. It's got 12 tracks mixed and it's about 79 minutes. It's a progressive house/trance mix and it's really good(no kidding). I've been resident at Power Studios before they shut down, Liquid(in the side room on Saturday nights before they shut down as well)....and I spun a breakbeat set at Groove Jet once before they shut down. Lucky me......all these clubs that I used to spin at have shut down.....I just want to know if you know of any people or clubs that I should be submitting CD's to. Any feedback is appreciated.

Alright, I want this record BAD but I don't know the name of the song or the artist...maybe one of you can help...and I know you guys have heard this song at least at Space...It goes: "Why must I deal with this shit every fucking day? I just can't believe all the things people say." anyone?

I've been to Space three times and I've never had a problem getting in. I've worn jeans and a t-shirt each time. I think it's not just how you look, but the attitude you give off. For example, I've been in the very front of the line for maybe about 10 minutes while the black-haired girl picked out people behind me to get in. Usually I've noticed that she picks out girls and whoever they are with. But I never gave a bad look about it....just stood there......then she said, "You're in jeans, huh?"....and I just looked at her with an apologetic look and said, "Uh-huh"....then she let me in and said, "No jeans next time, ok?".....I said, "fine"...and that was it......I think that if you just stand there and look all pissed off and in a hurry, they're not going to let you in for a while.....I figure, just chill, let them do whatever the fuck they gotta do, and they'll let you in if...but if you even look upset about waiting for so long.....you'll probably be waiting for an even longer time..... Now as far as the vibe inside...i don't like the trance rooms....not my kinda music...I like Digweed shit......that fast-paced trance just doesn't cut it for me....I like music.....the vibe inside is kinda hostile.......the patio however, is awesome.....I'm not sure who the DJ was that apins at around 9AM on Sunday mornings, but he spins so cool fucking house and the people look friendlier in the patio and seem to be having a better time.......that's my opinion....

The Orb are out of hand. Nothing like the Orb. I saw them at Club Kay's in Ft. Lauderdale a few years ago and was blown away. I'm looking forward to their show @Orbit.
