Hey hon', Sorry to say but cheap fares and best Dj's are'nt gonna be found in one single trip to Ibiza. If what you want is the big shit, you gotta go in the summer. And Ibiza summers are fuckin' expensive. Unless it all changed lately, the only club that stays open passed the end of september is the Pacha at least I think that's the one, but anyway there's only one megaclub open. Then the whole shit reopens in june. From what I've been told by the locals, the party scene goes on in wintertime but it's different. Smaller clubs, less commercial dj's, less "tourist clubers".... To me that all makes for better clubbing but hey! I'm not sure it makes such a good clubbing trip. Gotta be more "excessive". Anyway, if you're still thinkin' of goin' on the island, the peak is Jully but all the closing partys are in september. It's huge anyway so... cant really go wrong. Though if you're lookin' for a clubbin' vacation during the holidays... my suggestion would be Spain in general and Barcelona in particular. I could tell ya bout the place for hours. I had two weeks of intense non stop partyin' drinkin' clubin' and all other essentials. Hell hon', it took me a month to recover when I came back! Anyway, hit me back quick if you need info, finding a couple usefull numbers can probably save ya a couple days of lookin' round for the good stuff... ya know. See ya

Anytime you wanna take new shots with the leather pants you told me about . I'm sure it'd be a great addition to this board. So here, I'll try to put up one of mine but I'm note sure it'll work. I'll be followin right in your steps. The shot is all dramatic and shit but I dont take myself that seriously. It's just that I'm a photographer and when you have to make a lighting test at 2 in the mornin' it's sometimes hard to get a model to sit-in. So that explains the drama!!! I hope. Yo dude! Man you'll have an amzin' time! Have'nt been there for New year but man does that city rock. Try the dotlight, loungier but has a dance floor in the back with the best projections I have seen. The best club we found was a really small one on the same little street [right off Las Ramblas street]. It has no name that I know of but the music is allway excellent and everybody's partyin' till late, very late. And you seriously have to find a place wich is called somethin like "Bosque de las feroles" Forest of the ferries in english. Closes at 2:30 but definitely the best place to chill if you feel let's say "otherworldly". Seriously man you dont wanna miss that one even if you just go for one drink. Right acros the wax Museum in a little alley [ask for one or the other and people should know] In terms of real after-hours clubs, my personal pick would be the Moog [they have flyer boys everywhere]. We had excellent tecno, people were chill and the ambiance great. But it's a no frills kinda place so I would'nt suggest goin' only there. Try the Apollo and the Japan. I heard of a club located in a castle on top of one of the hills but have'nt been there. Dont go to Maremagnum [right on the waterfront] or you'll end up dancin' on Shaiana Twain [What can I say man... Iwas seriously drunk!]. That's it man for my pix but hell! there's a lot to explore. One last one... in terms of accomodation. The "Kabul" I cant recommend the place strongly enough. It's a Youth Hostel and a little pricy for that matter but it's THE place in Europe if what you're down for is nonstop party. The only way to get some sleep at the Kabul is to come back totally fucked at seven in the mornin'. Then you can get a couple hour's rest before you start all over again . Man there's vending machines with 75 cents beer right in the cafeteria! Do I need to say more. That's it man, reach me in the PM's if you have any questions but you'll love Barcelona anyway. Right! Sorry bout the response time man. Crazy week I'm havin'. So here ya go: On St-laurent street between Sherbrooke and Pines st [Des pins in french], you've got all the "trendier" clubs. Beautifull people havin' a great time. Gogo lounge seems to be the spot these days. Right across the street, there's Tokyo. My personnal suggestion. Music's usually at least decent and the crow up for a good party. But the decor is really the high point. If you keep goin' north, you'll have "Central Station" No opinion on that one but it's definitely one of the biggest non-after clubs. That't probably where you'll get the most action before three. Skip "the Living" a little more to the North but still on St-Laurent st.... I think you'd be dissapointed. Another good spot is Jinxy On Rachel st at St-Denis. Cool spot with good music though the crowd is not allways up to the challenge. Definitely worth seein' though. One place to check out is "Bily Kun" Loungier, no dancing, minimalist electronica but hell! You're there to have a beer with the friends. It's a little like east village with a bit more glam. Did I mention the stuffed ostriches [is that how you write it?] heads on the walls? Just remembered a new place on Ste-Catherine. Sonic showroom. Gotta to try it out yet but looks pretty sharp. Yo man! Simple enough, there's three clubs worthy of that name in Montreal. Sona, Stereo and Aria. All good with different styles and crowds. Sona's trys for the more underground feel. London glam/trash I'd say. Techno on fridays, with gorgeous women and a little less packed and snobbish then sats. wich are usually more House/tech-house and bring a lot more Mr Universes and their girlfriends strippers. Still lots of fun. Stereo is predominently gay and leans much more towards House. Supposedly has one of the best sound systems in the world. When the place has been put together by DJ's... it's not surprising. Then there's Aria... Good clean fun, the place itself is pretty fuckin' sharp architecturally speakin'. The DJ booth is all glass so you can watch the works either from the floor or from the bar [slightly above the DJ]. The crowd though is'nt allways as sharp as Sona's. Someone else could tell ya differently though. I'll just say it's pretty good and you would surely enjoy it but will never replace Sona. Well hon"... one word.: WOMAN. You're a chick. You come right in second place on the "most precious" list... right after the DJ. Mind ya, the guys only give ya the attitude when you're in the line-up. Soon as you get in, you allways get the "you have a good one big guy" and all. And the guestlist girl's allways nice too. Never got the big attitude from the staff, but they can be real brutal with some of the kids. Seen it and understand how someone would'nt have it so easy. Guess they'd have to go in with you. They'd be OK with the staff and they'd be spendin' the evenin with a gorgeous girl. I'm so fuckin' cheeeezy! Well I'm reaaly big on techno and I usually need somethin' little more brutal to kickstart me but I thought their shit was interesting. Mind you I did'nt know what kind a show I was goin' to so I had no expectations. Did'nt listen to the albums either. I would'nt go out of my way to catch a set in a club, but it made for a very good thursday night show. Specially with free tickets. Definitely beats watchin' ER with a bag of "fudgeeos". Went to catch a bit of Nick Warren on sat. That should be more the shit right? Yeah, it was. Pretty troubling night overall but hell of a set. Well sweet monday baby! Man do I hate that day!!!
