everyone has a freedom of speech/writing. even you. no one is trying to take that away. you dont speak or discuss, but blatantly insult people, with whose opinions you disagree with. almost every one of your replies has been an insult or a derogatory remark, which contributes zero to the discussion of the topic
since everyone has a right to speak, so do you, and so does sassa. i dont agree with most of what she has to say, and i let her know it, but i dont insult her. that would be useless. can you try and understand what im saying to you? its useless and counter productive to insult people, with whom you dont agree, by insulting people, you show your limit of thinking and analyzing views and rhetorics. just stop this redicilous name calling, discuss the topic and if you re offended or disagree with something someone has to say, write why and how, instead of barraging useless and debasing names. your opinions and words will be more resepcted if you lay them out in a logical , non offensive way.

yo sassa, it was a tragic accident. the US forces are probably the most competent and professional in the world. you dont know the situation on the ground, and to say that they were just playing with their toys is wrong. there are hundreds of al qada fighters scattered throughout afghanistan. obviously this was a tragedy, but war is never easy. you will always have civilian casualties whether you like it or not. dont forget who threw the taliban out of there.

haha this is soo weird. i met my current gf there about a year ago, so that place has that special vibe. the owner, Ali Baba (no joke), this guy is the funniest bastard alive! that place has to be one of my fav spots in the city. thanx for the tips, ill try out that Kush place, sounds nice. my fav falafel place is Mamoun's in the village, right by Ben's Pizza.

ok see, i dont think its that simple. US actions are critisised by everyone from the arab nations to the european left, yet the policy and control burden is all on US shoulders, which is completely ridiculous. wheres the much needed and necessary critisism of arab nations, the real problem here.
look, how can you expect them not to live like shit and be angry, when their societies are oppressed, uneducated and strewn with religious dogma. i think we should concentrate more on reforming these states, with international pressure and aid, rather than constantly bashing bush and US for all the world's ills. its simply preposterous. bush is a walking chimp, but i have to say this though, while the european intellectuals sit on their ass and debate whats right and whats wrong, he went in, knocked out the taliban, and will bring saddam down next. how many of you can say that afganistan is worse off today than a year ago? none i think.

for this kind of money, we should have robo soldiers or something. i dont feel like its necessarily a good thing, an inflated military has tremendous risks on its own. and who is going to pay for all this? wouldnt some of this money be better used for education or foreign aid??

see i agree with what you said, and before any peace will come 3 things must happen, ABSOLUTELY must happen,
1. end of terror attacks
2. end of settlement expansion and construction
3. end of palestinian anti-semitic propaganda (this is very important, because the current media poisons another palestinain generation)
with those things settled, a 3rd party like US/EU can help with other issues like boundaries, military and economic plans. i think the biggest problem is what bush said today, arafat. although i believe sharon is a war criminal, he can at least be voted out of office, arafat cant. theres your problem. bush was right on with today's speech.

have to agree with o reilly there. there were many instances where french and the germans could have cooperated in extraditing and punishing these killers, yet for some reason, they choose to respect the rights of killers rather than 3000 victims.

i lived in communist russia, and it was no workers paradise. the life itself was good, we had things that we needed, a dacha, a car, an apartment, etc, but there was absolutely no opportunity to advance, to work and get repaid for your work, and that is because communism does not value property, it does not value personal work as property, which is a fundamental flaw. capitalism is the greatest economical systems because it works, and no, not because it oppresses other countries, thats complete bullshit, capitalism is the natural way of doing business, of running an economy, and that s why communism would never succeed, not because people are evil or greedy, but because communism is utopian and utterly inefficient. i cant believe people think of communism as some complete and best system, when it clearly isnt, and never will be. im very skeptical about the situation in afganistan. you cannot suddenly impose law and order on people that have been killing each other for hundreds of years. the afghan way of life is savage, they are backward people that need to arrive at a point of their culture when they are mature enough to handle disputes without violence. we are wasting our time and money there.
