  1. The weapons he has can easily be transfered to any terrorist group. I think that the speech outlined this, the terrorists donot send little reminders before they attack. 2)Why are people in the dark about this. It was said in the beginning Sept 18th 2001 the war is bigger then Osama and by killing him would not cure our promblems. BELEIVE ME THAY ARE LOOKING FOR HIM IF HE IS NOT ALREADY DEAD!!
  2. Very good. I feel he hit all the important parts Terror, Economy, Medicare and domestic issues. Now to address your criticism, 1) Applause, it is tradition and liberals didn't complain when Pres Clinton gave his state of the union addresses I wonder why?? 2) Not addressing domestic issues, if not limiting the amount people can sue doctors and reforming medicare not adressing domestic issue what is???? Just for a minute forget the fact he was appointed by the HIGHEST COURT OF OUR LAND and focus on what he has acheived in the last 2 years. The cut in dividend taxes as well as a reduction in taxes in general will only put more money in peoples hands which increase consumption. Basic economics tells us that an increase in INCOME (ie. tax reduction)will increase consumption which will help corporate profits and boost stock market valuations as well. This will install whatbis called the wealth effect. So what if the rich get more they pay 80% of the taxes for god's sake isn't that fair the more you make the more you get back period . 3)Now with Iraq Innocent until proven guilty WHAT are you saying man the guy is a maniac he gassed his own people and will stop at nothing to dominate the middle east. Now to say no one suppotrs the POSSIBLE war with Iraq is false only a small majority oppose the war and will see otherwise when Colin Powell presents DE-CLASSIFIED evidence on the 5TH of Feb. The leaning over the podium when he was speaking about the progress of the War on terror is what the public wants to hear. We are winning and paying back those heartless mother fuckers!!! I felt like going up there and high 5'ing him. Great speech.....
  3. Yeah and that would'nt be on every tabloid and topic of discussion on every news network for weeks. Yeah your inside scoop would only tell you and it didn't get out, sure. So what if he did every one is human
  4. Those double mochas with your hippie freinds at starbucks is getting to you if you cant see the urgency of his threat.....
  5. YOU ARE A SICK PERSON:mad:
  6. The tax cut will be proportioned the more you make the more of a braek you get isn't that fair?? I am not rich and I agree totally with the break structure. The rich are taxed progressively why not have the break measured with the same system??? The rich pay 80% of the taxes. I just don't get it??? You say Bush is selfish or that the gov't should give more back to the poor right? Then why go and protect or defend a Sadam Hussein where his selfishness and hunger for weapons deprived his own people of a decent life. He is the only reason people suffer in Iraq every day. The United States is wrong for trying to get involved when it's maniacs like Sadam that sponsor those 19 cowards that changed our country for ever. Where is your logic how can you not see this guy is crazy and will stop at nothing to hide every little bit of evidence from the inspectors and the world.
  7. Shit starts going down 1 word Under Seige. The country will be on lock down with camps and and curfews. SCARY SHIT.
  8. So I am in the elevator this morning returning from the cafeteria and there is a screen that prompts you with news and President Bush came on and these fellow employees started to bad mouth the president saying the country is going in the toilet and that he can't speak. I seriously got annoyed and was about to say something but my floor came. I might add that the remarks came from individuals who by just looking must be liberals and ahte Bush because he is a Republican. I can garuntee that they donot even comprehend what this administration is dealing with.
  9. French leaders have reacted angrily after US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld described American allies France and Germany as "problems" in the crisis over Iraq. Finance Minister Francis Mer said he was "profoundly vexed" by Mr Rumsfeld's remarks - which branded France and Germany "old Europe - while a former employment minister described the US as arrogant. If you knew what I felt like telling Mr Rumsfeld... Roselyne Bachelot, French Environment Minister Mr Rumsfeld made the remarks in Washington after French President Jacques Chirac and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder agreed to work together to oppose US threats of war in Iraq. "Germany has been a problem and France has been a problem," Mr Rumsfeld told Washington's foreign press corps. "But you look at vast numbers of other countries in Europe, they're not with France and Germany... they're with the US. "You're thinking of Europe as Germany and France. I don't," he said. "I think that's old Europe." Mr Rumsfeld pointed to the planned expansion of Nato, with seven eastern European and Baltic countries invited to join the alliance. "If you look at the entire Nato Europe today, the centre of gravity is shifting to the east," Mr Rumsfeld said. European divisions The BBC's James Coomarasamy, in Paris, says the divisions between Europe and the US over Iraq are growing more public and the rhetoric more pointed by the day. The French Environment Minister, Roselyne Bachelot, told one interviewer: "If you knew what I felt like telling Mr Rumsfeld..." She then stopped herself, saying the word was too offensive. Europe is deeply divided over the possibility of war with Iraq. France and Germany are opposed to early military action, while the UK is sending massive troop deployments to the Gulf. US Secretary of State Colin Powell has questioned the commitment of France and Germany to disarming Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein. However, he has described the disagreements with France as a "blip", saying he hoped "the French would come to the understanding" of the need to use the threat of force to compel Saddam Hussein to disarm.
  10. My take is they are scared. They know they are vulnerable to an attack by terrorists. So maybe their mentality is if you can't beat tolerate them.. Other then that I can't fathom what they are thinking????
  11. A general in the JAPANESE army after Pearl Harbor said "I am afraid we have awoken a sleeping giant" That giant was awoken AGAIN on Sept 11th at 8:45 am And he's pissed
  12. If WWIII breaks I will not hesitate to join in. Seriously it will become a race war these maggots only see the west as infidels and will stop at nothing to destroy the FREE LOVING WORLD. I had enough!!!
  13. Can you beleive this shit No one feels bad for the people he has tortured. I hope we squash this maggot Why Jordan's Yuppies Root for Saddam Letter from Amman: They love Buffy, Bruce Willis and the Butcher of Baghdad. Disappointed in their own leaders, Jordan's in-crowd admires Saddam's defiance By APARISIM GHOSH/AMMAN ALI JAREKJI/REUTERS Jordanians in Amman show solidarity with Iraq by burning U.S. and Israeli flags Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003 Nabil Saqqar used to hate Saddam Hussein. The 19-year-old Jordanian undergrad has friends who live in Baghdad, and has heard plenty of horror stories about the Iraqi dictator's repressive regime. He recounts some of them for my benefit as we wait in a queue at a Kentucky Fried Chicken in Amman. (I'll skip the gory details: suffice it to say that they put me off dinner.) But recently, Nabil's been reassessing Saddam, seeing him in a new light. "You have to admire the fact that, unlike the West, he has consistently stuck to his principles," he says, checking his hair on a shiny wall panel. "In many ways, Saddam is a hero: somebody who never wavers from his course in the face of adversity." Sonia Faddoul and Tamara Ghuniem don't think Saddam is a hero — they know him to be a tyrant who brutalizes his own people. But in a smackdown between the Iraqi dictator and the American president, there's no doubt who they would like to see biting the dust. For the two Jordanian women, both 22, backing Saddam is neither a matter of Arab nationalism nor faith. "When you see one man stand up to the greatest power on Earth," says Sonia, matter-of-factly, "how can you not support the underdog?" It would be no surprise to hear such sentiments from enraged street protestors, about to torch an American flag. On the 'Arab street,' the Iraqi dictator has always been able to count on the support of the lumpen element — the ill-informed, reflexively anti-Israel and anti-American mob that sees in Saddam something akin to a working class hero, his very survival a slap in the face of the hated United States. But Nabil, Sonia and Tamara don't belong to that crowd. These young people don't hate the U.S. They don't feel threatened by American culture, they embrace it. Sonia likes parties, rock 'n' roll music and never misses an episode of Friends. Tamara is partial to Hollywood blockbusters, particularly those starring Bruce Willis or Sandra Bullock. Nabil affects a faux New York accent to go with his fading 501s and Tommy Hilfiger jacket, and says he is in love with "that tough girl on TV — Buffy." For pro-Western Arabs, a group that includes most of the élite and the intellectuals, Saddam used to be, at best, an embarrassment. His adventure in Kuwait, combined with his brutish regime, made him impossible to defend. But where once he was a divisive figure, Saddam is now uniting Arab opinion firmly behind him. "You won't find a single Arab who is anti-Saddam," says political analyst Labib Kamhawi. "Not even among the sophisticated, Western-educated classes." For the Bush administration, the loss of this crucial constituency compromises any chances of influencing Arab opinion, a crucial element of any campaign in Iraq. It complicates post-war scenarios, too: If Saddam is the Good Guy, then no matter what the outcome of the war, America can only be the Bad Guy. And of course, it gives the dictator a tool his American adversary doesn't have in the Arab world: a weapon of mass adulation. Not all of Saddam's supporters among the Arab élite are starry-eyed kids like Nabil, Sonia and Tamara. Toujan Faisal is a seasoned political campaigner. As a member of the Jordanian Parliament in the mid-'90s, she stood out for her strong views on women's issues — and for her fashion sense. At a time when Islamist lawmakers were advocating traditional Arab dress for women, she defiantly wore short skirts to Parliament. These days, she is an outspoken advocate of democracy for Arab nations. "The old-style Arab regimes don't like my frankness," she says, defiantly. "But I represent modernity, and I say what needs to be said." Faisal sees no contradiction between her political views and the proudly displayed signed picture of Saddam Hussein on her mantelpiece: "Best wishes from my heart," the reads the dictator's Arabic inscription, in green ink. Although she acknowledges that Hussein is no democrat — "If I were in his shoes, I'd rule differently." — Faisal maintains that the Iraqi dictator is probably the most impressive leader in the Arab world. "He is an old-fashioned knight," she gushes. "He has charisma and an iron will — compared with him, the other leaders of the Arab world are small pygmies. Such a man deserves to be treated with respect." Nabil would never put a Saddam Hussein poster in his bedroom: that would be way uncool for a hip teenager. But not long ago, he'd have thought it uncool even to praise Saddam. "Among my friends, talking about politics was considered stupid, a waste of time," he says. "But now everybody talks about Saddam, and we all think he's tough." Tough like Buffy? "Yeah," Nabil laughs. "Tough like Buffy." Only in this case, it's the vampire he admires, not the slayer.
  14. These sick fucks should have their nutz smashed with a 12 iron so they can't contaminate the rest of the world.
  15. But overall the year I feel will post positive growth not alot but some. The automotive industry ??? Ford just raised it's forcasts for the upcoming quarter. The 3oth is judgement day for 4th quarter results. 4%in the 3rd quarter economists are expecting 1.4 for the 4th hopefull we match or beat.
  16. People fail to realise another terrorist attack would absolutely CRIPPLE THE ECONOMY. It should be priority number 1. They got their shit together the economy is not that bad. It's not late 90's nothing will ever be that good unless we have another tech revolution like the internet. On a fundemental standpoint the valuations or Tech bubble of the 90's was dangerous for our economy. The economy is still showing moderate growth year over year unemployemt is high but that could be due to increases in productivity which limit's the need for extra labor especially if demand has slowed. Companies have drastically cut back spending which is 1/3rd of the equation of GDP and as soon as that picks up the economy will grow at a faster rate. Companies profits are improving and my geuss the cost cutting that companies are incorporating includes reduction in debt and interest payed on that debt. This will give co's more of an oppurtunity to increase spending. In due time the economic cycle will start it's positive expansion.
  17. IT'S THE CLASSIC CASE OF ENVY FOR THE RICH KID ON THE BLOCK... I can't wait until some finatic blows the Eiffel tower to smithereens those pansy ass scared little men in France wont support us because -- Nothing happened in France YET and they feel it's not their fight. Just like in 1991 when they would'nt allow us to use their airspace to fight in the 1st Persian Gulf WAR. -- We have more of promblem with Anti-Americanism in europe then in the middle east. The French forgot who saved them from the evil grip of Adolf Hitler in WWII those ungreatful son's of Bitches. The Germans: Where do I begin????? 1st the this Scroeder character is a half a girl playing both sides of the fence. He is a snake in the grass publicly denouncing any support to the US with our PRE-EMPTIVE stance on terrorism and then KISSING THE ASS of Bush when it was publicly stated that our political relationship with GERMANY is strained.
  18. But you said it's the U.S.of A that is behind their hardships?
