Instead of doing the norm on a saturday of a holiday weekend, there was no way in hell i was goin to miss this event. My heart goes out to those who wanted to be there( Vic Soto, Mike Bugout, etc). This nite was truely an amazing experaince. Even if you aren't a fan of Groovfire, one should check him out next time he is in the area just for the experiance. 1st off, big thanks to DJ Riddler for hookin it up with the VIP room. Good times Now on to Groovfire.... Supposed to go on at 11 but ended up goin on 20minutes later. Really thought he was goin to drop alot of tracks from his new releases but that wasnt the case. He threw down bout 4-6 tracks from the new album. And unlike the sterotypes people have bout Groovefire, HIS SET WAS NOT ALL TRANCE. People shouldn't classify Groovefire as a trance DJ until they have a chance to see him live Some of the Highlites from his set - Orange Theme - Dark Side of the Moon - Force of Gravity - Southern Sun - Traffic - Perfect Silence strolled over to get a few pics of him then outta nowhere he hit the crowd with C:/DEL*MP3 . The entire room just lost it rite when he dropped that track. Groovfire brought alot of energy to the place on SAt nite as did the crowd. Now don't get me wrong but..... GROOVEFIRE@ Sully surpasses any TempTs closing Party, any event on rt 35 Sayerville, any DJAIS party, any Surf Club party, any Metro party, any Joeys Party. You just can't compare a nite w/ Groovfire vs anyone of those partys and if you think otherwise, you're wrong. Groovfire is def the #1 DJ in the world
