I was just checking out Deep Dish's website and noticed that they are supposedly booked at the Republic for 11/16 and 12/31. The booking notes the club name as "Repbulic (ex-Limelight)". Can anyone verify this? I'm a bit out of the loop so this may be OLD news. Thanks

OK.... I'll say it again.... NERO did not have a good night. Agreed he played some good tracks, but his transitions and beats were homogenous. He kept stopping and pausing, but would not deliver the hammer after a stop. My friends and I were very disappointed. Shawn Ink brought us back up with some excellent tracks and smooth continuous beats. Sorry NERO, maybe next time. Also.... How many freaking promotors say the same damn thing every week. You can't believe half the stuff you read on this board because somebody will say time and again.. ROXY was great, when maybe it wasn't. Then go post a negative review about another DJ. Donald Glaude definitly has skills, so I can't believe people saying that they didn't like his shit. Let's be more honest so we can give people better information.

Not very crowded last night at all. Plenty of room to dance. Shawn came on at 0400.... I left at 0600. Shawn was just getting things worked up and was playing some pretty good beats, but by 0600 my freinds and I were done!

I agree Rizzo was pretty descent and had the crowd moving, but what was up with your set?? You kept stopping the music and breaking the flow of the beat every 10 minutes. It was annoying as hell. You would have a good beat going, then bam... no smooth transition, just a stop and then switch. What the fuck!! Shawn brought back some energy and was laying down some good beats that got my friends and I moving again, but overall we were very disappointed in the music for the night. Roxy on the other hand was looking good and the sound system was perfect. Better luck next time. I typically don't give negative reviews, but thought you should know that you have had better nights.

Typically there is plenty of "fun" to be purchased at clubs so don't sweat it. Door Policy and searches vary from place to place. Just be careful. Thursday nights go to Club Shelter..... www.clubshelter.com. I believe Darren Emerson is spinning we you are here. Just check out the website. I would agree in general with the previous recommendations. Always keep an eye out for who is spinning at Centro-Fly (www.centro-fly.com) A pretty cool crowd, a little pricey, but older average age if you don't want to be around a real young crowd. I have always had a great time at Centro-fly. Enjoy!!!
