Do you see the contradictions in what you are saying, You say that thousand of people are dying because the Taliban is Oppressing them. Well the US is fighting the taliban with the Northern Alliance to help remove the oppresive taliban. How do you see us not caring about those deaths, we are fighting towards the same goal. As you said they dont have AK-47's because they are oppressed, you insinuate that they would fight if they could. Well we are fighting for them then. And what do you expect to happen when you post something relating to the WTC attacks? Us NOT to bring up some 5000+ victims? I think not. If you are going to post things like this, tossing around insults and calling us 'fucking hyppocrites' at least get your shit straight and stop contradicting yourself.

The whole country it supposed to be riddled with mines still around from the soviets, but apparently only 0.1% of the should still be functioning. Also its possible that the Northern Alliance is planting mines to keep the Taliban back from the newly aquired positions.

Memo's like this to the employee's of any company that need to interact with viewers/readers are normal. They are just stressing what they would like conveyed. It could be seen as biased, but since I have no doubt that the Taliban is the cause of the problems I do not see a problem. Its like sending out a memo reminding the employees to mention that its daylight savings time and to set the clock back. Are they biasing anyone? NO. It's simply a fact they want to convey. I for one think you are contradicting yourself, you ask "At what point do we owe it to ourselves and others to care, share, and communicate what is inside to each other?" then you say "Happiness and love comes from within, not from social circles..." Well, I would tend to think 'socal circle' is just another way to say friends and to me friends play a big part in my happiness and love. I find a good balance between going out for fun and doing my work in school, maybe if you want to include the irresponsiblity of going out all night in your rant you should not use the word "we" and instead use "I." Lastly, why is it that you think we are all "trying to identify with something or someone to mask what is missing in our lives," have you ever thought that it's possible some or even most of the people here don't go out to find whats missing but rather because they simple enjoy it and if they stopped, then the 'going out' would be what was missing from their lives. my advise to you is to get a doctor, some Zoloft, and relax.. not everyone is quite to empty as you want to believe.

I just went this past thursday and dressed semi nice because i thought it was a little upscale but people were definately coming in with jeans and sneakers so Im guessing you can wear what ever you want.

Never had that problem last year, the fire alarm on my floor was broken so if we didnt feel like going out we just said fuck it. What are they going to do fine us for having a broken alarm. The only problem I had was having a roomate walk in, you guys ever had that happen? Its much harder now, over here in the apartments because we dont have the chain like the quads do.

I have had good experiences with ordering books from amazon. as for the price, most of the time after S&H it comes to about the same price you'd pay at a B&N. Look for the deals, sometimes they have a nice little free shipping deal and then you will get it for less then you would going to a store.
