    Ladies...

God, I know what you're talking about. I'm 5'11", and I hate my height... Not to mention my height with heels (which I rarely wear, as if I'm not tall enough as it is) And the short girls go around stealing all of the tall guys for themselves...not very considerate of them
  2. Definately HOWELLS I heard him play twice in the past year and both times he was absolutely brilliant!
  3. So after another long flight, here I am in New York... Like most of you (I guess) I'm planning on going tomorrow to Centro-Fly... And yeah, I am ready for a more of a relaxed vacation, not as wild as the visits in the past years. Again, 10x 4 your help Peace S.
  4. La Troya is the most crazy gay party in Ibiza, every Wednesday in Amnesia. Most people don't go this party because it doesn't have any hot shot DJs... The crowd is mostly local, as are the DJs, and it is the most colorful happy and fucked up crowd you can find in Ibiza (except maybe for DC10) The party left such a tremendous impression on me, that La Troya became my nick everywhere on the web....
  5. Thanks for all of your help (or at least most of yours) After talking some more to friends and family I decided to come. I understandd it won't be like other times in NY, but it just feels like the right decision. C ya soon I guess
  6. Hi you guys. I am an Israeli with family (parents and a brother and more) and friends living in New York. Luckily, everyone is safe... I had my yearly vacation in NY planned for next week, I was supposed to come for a couple of weeks. Now I am in a big dilemma...should I come? I am currently leaning towards not coming, and postponing my trip till the spring. New York seems quite devestated at the moment, naturally. Different people tell me different things, and I thought why not ask you? What do you think? It's hard to understand how life in the city is through CNN? Would you come to visit NY next week if you were me? Thanks for your help. Peace and Love to all, S.
  7. umm...Israel offered help, I know we're small and all, and some of you probably don't really like us now, thinking we got you into this mess... Unfortunately, we do have some experience with this shit. I hope that it wasn't just a polite gesture and Israeli help is on its way. God be with you. S.
  8. Ignorance is one thing, but celebrating thousands and thousands of innocent people's death?? There is no justification for that. That can't be excused as ignorance. They can't think that all of these people were guilty of something. They can be brainwashed that the US as a whole is guilty for not supporting them, and maybe that certain key people and politicians are guilty, but not the people that died... Would anyone here be happy if even one innocent person were to die in Iraq?? Of course not. Ignorance can excuse many things. not this.
  9. I'm no expert on this, so maybe I got something wrong, but I think it's about these issues: 1) The extreme in the Arab world is against the process of globalization, which in their eyes is led by the US, because it endangers the Arab consolidation. 2) You have to understand that the arabs see themselves as one nation, so if the US is fighting in Iraq, they don't see it just as a war/embargo on Iraq, but as something against the whole arab nation 3) Last but not least, US is conceived of as Israel's friend and ally.... btw - it's not necessarily palestinians..it could also be Lybians/Iraqu/Iran and so on.... Plenty of extreme militants out there. Again, sympathize with you guys, love S.
  10. I feel for you guys. A few minutes ago I got the message that my parents and brother which all live in NY are alive and well. We here in Israel feel for you guys more than anyone. Of course this is a disaster of a totally different scale, but bombs are a matter of daily life here...and unfortunately so are the Palestinian celebration parades after every terrorist attack... And it isn't just the extreme people on their side...It's the mass, the regular people who joy the death of innocent people. You may have not known this until today...We see it after every terrorist attack. My heart is with you guys... Love, S.
  11. hmmm...Sorry...Want it back? Anyway..all this talk about rollin...haven't rolled in so long...Can't wait till next week...God, I'm going to have so much fun (and jaw clenching )
  12. Carl Cox is one of the best DJs around... Oakie is major cheez though...
  13. What do you know Dialectics, Haoman is opening its doors this week, after being closed for the summer...I can't wait, I think it's the best club in Israel. Alenbi 58 - that used to be my fav club...that's basically where I grew to love the music and the scene (and just grew up in general ). Actually I live like 2 minutes from Alenbi 58, by the beach. And as for it closing down, the owners opened a new megaclub in the old port of TelAviv. it's called...TLV (so not original...) What's your sis doing here? btw- my parents live in NY, I go there every year, I'm coming in less than 2 weeks...can't wait ... I expect this year to be duller than usual, as clubs are being closed down...
