I'm just wondering if there are any Boston peeps heading to Ibiza this summer. I'm a 29 yo straight male- I went with a bunch of friends two years ago and had the time of my life, but now no one wants to go. I don't want to go by myself, but I will if I have to. I just thought I'd post to see if there are any cool people going....

I'm no promoter- I used to be a regular and I have to say I used to really like the atmosphere. It was never too stuffy. I'm getting up in the years (29) and my friends just don't want to go clubbing anymore. Sat. will be the first time in a year that I'll be going and I'm kinda excited. I used to love going to the Roxy on Saturday nights and I'm hoping it's like it was a year or two ago. Thanks for the replies and any more input is appreciated.

Day Parties; Sunday -Space on the terrace- just crazy Monday-Circo Loco at DC10 is the sickest party I've ever been to- Huge airliners 200 feet over your head, 90 degree weather and beautiful people. Tuesday- Manumission carry-on @ Space There's a party every day at Bora-Bora, and there are plenty of others throughout the island. I'll take Ibiza any day.

We stayed at the Jet Apartments in Playa d'en Bossa last year. My friend and i were in agreement that we picked an ideal location. We were right on the longest stretch of beach on the island, and we were a five minute walk to Space and Bora Bora Beach club. Beautiful views with lots of scantily clad gals. Getting around was easy- It's a short bus ride to Ibiza town, although getting a cab was sometimes challenging. A few tips- 1. Crime is prevalent, so keep your doors locked and your purse secure. Two thieves stole purses from the girls we were with while we were hanging out at a bar at Ibiza Town port. Everything they had was gone in an instant- money and passports. 2. Make sure you have enough cash before the weekend starts. Many ATM's run out of money on the weekends and most places don't accept credit cards. 3. Go to Bambuddha Grove restaurant- the name of the town it is in escapes me for the moment, but it is northeast of Ibiza town. It is the most amazing restaurant I've been to. It's worth a look. 4. Plan your trip carefully. It is an absolutely amazing place and you will LOVE it! Do as much as you can while you're there because if you don't, you'll regret it!!! Enjoy!

I've used Yohimbe in the past for its fat-burning properties. When I take it, I can really feel my body temp. rise- much more so than ephedrine/caffeine. It gives me a shitty, fever-like feeling. It does not make me feel hornier. As a matter of fact, my penis shrinks, much like it does when I take E. If you're going to try it, take it in a low dose- 5 mg or less. Yohimbe is a very potent herb and should be used with caution.

Hey Twilo- Sorry to tell you this, but it really sucks. The day of surgery wasn't bad, nor were the next few days. About 5 days later it started to really hurt. I was in a lot of pain for the next 5 days. Eating can be really hard as it hurts alot. I could not eat ice cream nor have soup or anything hot because they hurt really bad. I had liquid percocet which was the only thing that helped. I would have about 2x the dose and eat 1/2 hour later. That was the only way I could eat. There is an upside. It IS worth the ordeal. I used to get a sore throat and inflamed tonsils every few months. It's been approx. 7 months now since surgery and I haven't been sick since. I am SO happy I had them removed! Be brave! I'd say check out the Roxy. It's an older crowd, the music isn't exactly cutting edge, but it 's SO much fun. The people are cool, the girls are hot, and the club is BIG and beautiful. I find Avalon too pretentious and crowded. You can't even dance. The hard-core people don't like the Roxy, but I think it's the most fun place on a Saturday night.
