  1. Monique Junot: He keeps putting his testicles all over me. Lane Myer: Excuse me? Monique Junot: You know, like octopus? Testicles? Lane Myer: Ohhhh. Tentacles. N-T. Lane Myer: Sorry Johnny, I don't have a dime. Johnny: Didn't ask for a dime. Two dollars. Lane Myer: My mom's not home. She had to take my brother to the hospital. My grandma dropped acid this morning, and she was really stressed out. She hijacked a busload full of... penguins. It's sort of a family crisis. Bye! Charles De Mar: This is pure snow! Do you have any idea what the street value of this mountain is? Charles De Mar: How are we going to get real drugs in this town? We can't even get cable! Charles De Mar: Suicide is never the answer little trouper. Charles De Mar: And dying when you're not really sick is really sick, you know. Really! Charles De Mar: I've been going to this high school for seven and a half years. I'm no dummy. I know high school girls. Mailman: What's a little boy like you doing with big boy smut like this? Tree Trimmer: Now that's a real shame when folks be throwin' away a perfectly good white boy like that. Lane Myer: Gee, I'm real sorry your mom blew up, Ricky.
  2. Surprise… Surprise… Surprise…......NOT!
  3. I just got back from the hospital. My best friend from high schools mother is in I.C.U. She wanted to buy a computer, so I told her I would build one for her. We were just out picking up parts. Unfortunately, we were just railed by a motorist who ran a red light. I'm fine, but she is far from it. His only defense was that he didn't see the light because he was talking on his cel phone. My guess is he wouldn't have admitted that if he wasn't in the state of shock. I agree that sometimes these types of laws are a bit high handed. I for one can handle a car while I'm on the phone, but obviously others can't. It sucks that I can't talk on the phone now without a hands free set, but maybe if this law were already in place, I wouldn't have had to go to the hospital yesterday. Drew
  4. How about you all e-mail the program director and tell him what you think. Phil Michaels Trueba
  5. awesome!!!!!!! LOL! got any whites yet?
  6. where can I get this mix Pod? It sounds groundbreaking. Drew
  7. Try the Dj Store in Ft. Lauderdale and/or Mars Music. Good Luck, Drew
  8. It's free and It's a bird.
  9. I didn't have any complaints when I was reviewing it, but as with any software it's hardware dependent. Stanton recommends a PIII 700 or better on a dual boot system (Windows and BeOS). I recommend 256mg of memory and a hard drive that spins at least 7200rpm. AM DJ offers a similar product that allows you to use a cd player with a vinyl interface. I've fooled with it a bit but can't give a true review just yet. A friend of mine Dustin (DJ CK) is the AM DJ rep down here and he swears by it. .....and YES! I do trust him. He has never steered me wrong, but go see it for yourself. I'm sure you'll be impressed. Drew
  10. It works wonderfully as long as you’re only going to mix music together, not scratch, or do turntable effects. On the other hand if you want to free your djing talents up for more important things like incorporating live musical performances? I recommend ableton live or hummingbird. Good Luck, Drew
  11. Apparently, 93.1 seems to be a little worried about their pole. Last night before I went to bed Stryke was at 71%, with dj Concept running a slow second at 23%. This morning the pole has magically vanished. Guess they really aren’t interested in who are favorite local dj is. Or maybe they just can’t stand the fact that regardless of how hard they try to conform South Florida to what is happening in other cities across this country, they fail to realize the rest of the country has been taking cues from us for several years now. There Programming Direct Phil Michaels Trueba (his e-mail) (tell him what you think) is better suited to organize the music for weddings and bah mitzvahs, not happening night spots on South Beach. It’s to bad actually. 93.1 could have been part of the team that revolutionized entertainment on South Beach. Now they just get to be 93.1 with a big “L†on their forehead. Like my momma always said, “Stupid is as Stupid doesâ€. – My friend Forest Drew
  12. New slogans for 93.1 " We've got our finger on the pulse of........uhm....cough....?" " How many dj's does it take to get to the center of the club scene on Miami Beach? ...Ah one...Ah two...Ah Three..........." " Power played 16 plus commercials last hour, we only played 5, other than the 12 we threw in promoting our station..... did I just say that out loud?" " I'm not a Programming Director, but I play one on T.V." " We secretly replaced these peoples quality entertainment on Saturday, with Folgers instant coffee. Let's see if they notice" Greg’s got my vote! Drew
  13. You have to remove the page break tags that arbitrarily wind up in a url this long. I.E. Go to the address box of the new window that opens and remove these tags from the url. "<br%20/>" and "%20" This should work. Unfortunately clubplanet breaks sentances that are to long. Including URL's Good Luck, Drew
  14. Thanks for the compliment. Next week we have Confucious (of Rabbit in the Moon). Hope to see you there! Drew
  15. Can't wait to see what's up Pod and L.B.C.s sleeve this evening!
  16. Yeah the track has been done for some time now, but it's finaly comin' out on Hooj. Nothing sad about that. Drew
  17. Thanks Pod! I had fun too. I just can't wait until Stryke is finaly in the house and we can tag team that room together. I'll see you all there:) Drew
  18. Actualy no, it was no trouble. In fact it pleases me to no end that it wound up in someones hands that will cherish it rather than be in the garbage. Enjoy! And thank you! Merry Christmas! Drew
  19. I have been waiting till I had enough time to put my words into a cohesive message. Thanks Bruce! You said it all. Hail Edgar V “The Governor of Trance”. Drew
  20. Honestly only a few handfuls of our friends. We haven't been trying to pack the house. Our intention has been to play quality music and give an alternative to what else there is to do. "An intimate gathering of friends in a comfortable environment." Unfortunately there are expenses and if we don't start breaking even soon we cannot continue. "SAVE FERRIS!" Thanks, Drew

  22. I would just like to say sorry in advance. Nick's tour schedual changed and we wound up not signing him for tonight Dec. 6th like we hoped. Unfortunately someone here neglected to tell Egotrip about the change of plans. When I got into work tonight I was asked about the Egotrip party ad printed in there magazine. I had no idea! Sorry! We will make up for it. Drew
