Hey Surreal, I'm down to meetup at Glow on Saturday. I'm also from L.A. (I lived off of LaBrea by the Santa Monica frwy) and missing it too. Saturday will be my first time at Glow so I can't tell you how it is, but I went to a God's Kitchen party last month (in Ibiza) and it was pretty dope. If you get a chance I would also recommend Buzz @ Nations. It's pretty phat. Maybe somebody will post a meetup spot and we can meet there. Otherwise I can pm you my cell-

I think he doesn't want to call you too much [or too soon] cos then he would seem like a cling-on. He's probably trying to make space so you don't get wierded out. Either that or maybe he thinks you aren't interested anymore and doesn't want to bug you. Call him at least to say "I don't have alot of time to talk, but what's up? How ya been?"

Went last month. LOVED it. I've been all over the west coast [of US] from San Diego to Seattle to Vegas to DC, been to Paris, Iceland, Amsterdam, Belgium, Mallorca...but NOTHING tops Ibiza. Nothing comes close! Some quick tips for Ibiza newbies (as I was). Being there two weeks partying everyday I learned alot; Don't get a villa unless you are traveling with alot of people (or have to), hotel rooms are way cheaper. My villa was 24,000 pesetas/day, I later moved into Hotel Mallorca in San Antonio (which was clean and convenient, but loud Brits singing soccer songs) which costs 5,000 pesetas/day. Never pay full price for tickets. Always find the workers (with the flyers, they are the coolest people on island) for a discount. I always got mine on the strip in the area around Bar M and Ithaca (San An). You might want to rent a car, had a few 1hour+ wait for cab outside club before I caved in and rented one. The Foam party at Eden was dead when I went. Go to the one at Amnesia. Most people there say "Disco" instead of "club." Cab driver told me "club" means whorehouse. Blue Rose was kinda lame compared to US stripclubs (at least in LA and Vegas) I never made it there, but I heard Salinas beach and DC-10 were "tha bomb." Definate go-to's; Water Party at Bora Bora Beach, Ministry of Sound at Pacha, Sundays at Space(!!!), Manumission, Tuesday morning Manumission Carry-on at Space. Oh yeah, I think I started levitating during Tiesto's set at God's Kitchen @Amnesia.

Hey! I'm new to the board and wanted to say "Hi Everybody!" I'm an LA/Vegas transplant who's been here for a year now, but just kinda recently discovered the scene here (thank god, I was starting to decompose). So far I managed to hit up Buzz (love it), Insomnia, and uhh...Platinum. I plan on checkin out GLOW on Sat. Ya'll sound cool. If there's a meetup (Buzz and/or Glow), are newbies invited? PS: Is there an afterparty spot in DC? Pre-party? Decent non frat-boy sports bar?

I just got back from two weeks of euphoria (aka Ibiza), where I had the pleasure of being at God's Kitchen @ Amnesia. Fergie, Tiesto, Mauro Picotto- I got so happy at one point I think I momentarily blacked out. I haven't been able to go out since I got back cos I been so jaded but... So you say God's Kitchen? I am so there.
