This is the post that I can identife with the most. Cox is a great DJ and no one can by blamed for the weather. BUT Stuck on Earth is SHIT in my book now. You can not treat people that way and expect them to come back to your events. The security was the worst I have even experienced. There really was a woman security person who was screaming at the crowd,"move to YOUR RIGHT!", but she was too stupid to realize that she was pointing to HER right the whole time which would be OUR left. So every time we did exactly what she said, she would flip out and scream louder. There was a group of people trying to teach her right from left, but instead of realizing her mistake she just became angrier. We waited outside for over two hours to get in. Why did it take the sercity 5 hours to think of a way to move the crowd. Then after COX there was another problem with security and people trying to get in and see Hawtin. I've always heard that Stuck on Earth events where run like shit, now I know if for a fact. :mad: despite all of the negative elements, the crowd was really pleasant and well behaved. it was a good crowd and good djs ruined by the event manager. Sorry to be all bashin, but thats how I feel.

hey man, I'm glad you feel like you got a little support here, but you also might want to think about talking with someone who is a pro. I've been through some crazey shit in my life and in those times talking with someone helped me out. Thats a pretty heavy topic you bought up and it should never be taken lightly, which I'm glad to see that everyone here was cool about it and offered support. please take care and know that we have all hit bottom at one point or another. Your right, we do a lot of fuck up shit and there are a lot of serious problems in the US, but I still think I would rather live here than anywhere else. I just hope you will note some if not all the good stuff we're about, while we all try to work together to fix the fucked up parts. and you thought i was going to yell at ya...didn't you.

...so what do you think? You got some good replys. And just for the record I hate jumping on any band wagons and I believe that befor you go waving any flags you gotta know where you stand. It's hard to reply in emails cause people don't know how you mean things. It's easy for thing to sound harsh and really, how many fuckin smiley faces can we use. :)
