  1. Creator of my own cosmetics company:)
  2. Helloooooooo? Anyone? Whoever misses this tonight better have a good excuse for not coming to see world renowned DJs making their FIRST ever US apperance!
  3. Info on Space DJz Born andraised in London, Jamie Bizmire and Ben Long both had similar eighties preoccupations with breakdancing, BMXing, graffiti and, of course, hip hop. Like many kids of that age, their infatuation with underground music brought them into contactwith acid house. Through partying at all the usual places, Jamie went onto become part of Bandulu, while they both continued experimenting fusingraw hip-hop, electro and the emerging techno sound. Approaching techno'sbasic principles with a breakbeat driven mentality led to Ben and Jamie adoptingtheir current moniker and releasing a string of critically acclaimed singleson Soma, Reload, Infonet and their seminal album Rates of Change on Novamute:this has been described as the ultimate crossbreed - a splash of Jeff Millswith a slice of Mantronix. More recently Space DJz on Patrol was unleashedupon us, with its aim accurately targeted at the dancefloor. Urban musicat its finest. 2001 saw them release the Last DJz on Earth double mixCD on Primary and they embarked on a 4 month world tour culminating in Australiathis August. DJing as a pair since the early nineties, the Space DJzhave gradually refined their art to controlled, visual and sonic mayhem.This could be witnessed at Lost from 1993 - 1994 when they held their residencyat one of the world's leading techno nights. Working with four decksand two mixers for up to 6 hours, they drop string sections over the topof beats, breaks and loops to devastating effect. With two people playingsimultaneously, their work interacts with each other as well as the crowdon a wholly different level.
  4. been there done that.. moved on to better things! (looks at Mugz)
  5. Mugz! You can't swim! I already warned you about filling that thing up without me around.
  6. The special guest tonight is the new Italian Prodigy, Danilo Vigorito. Folowing in the footsteps of Carola, Parisio and Rino, he is the new kid on the block. Here is some info on him from www.syncsite.it Danilo Vigorito was born in 1974 in the historical centre of Naples, where folklore, colors, and all kind of music spread quickly. He started djing in 1991 in some really good parties with friends and cool people, who belived that a new electronic age was beginning. but djing wasn't enough! So he started to work in some recordings studios to learn how to use electronics tools, with aspiration of producing, one day, his own records; after three years of work as sound engineer, he decided to start is career and he built his home studio. The first release is dated December 2000 and was titled ''Sync Mode e.p.'' on "informale"and was made only with drum machines and synthetizer, without any computer help. Afterwards, lots of releases came out on different well-know labels like: Conform, Genetic, Primate, Speaker Attack and finally on Zenit. Now, he's working for his own label called ''orionmuzik'' and on "frozen muzik". He recently started to travel around Europe perfoming and spreadind his cool & brilliant sound. releases : Discography Danilo Vigorito ''Syncmode e.p.'' 7. So, I've been missing out on my weekly dose of Tronic for almost a month now {gasp} Due to various different reasons...Now I'm back from Mexico, rested and feeling well and can't wait for tonight! Kooky Scientist and a very special guest {stress on the Very!} Who else is going?
  8. I too have a flip flop addiction--in the summer, theres no better shoe.. music.. coca-cola internet make-up the Real World baths all girly magazines-InStyle, Jane, cosmo, allure, you name it, I read it... jeans...i have way too many pairs
  9. I just got back from Mexico today, and I just wanted to thank Everyone for all the congrats and well wishing for me and Maudy! Once it happens, it's going to be quite the party--and yes, you are all invited! Hmmm....I wonder if Hawtin does wedding recpetions?
  10. You missed a great set at the Tronic afterparty in Detroit this past May:tongue: Hmmmm....Do I have to pick one?!? Just ONE! Hmmmmmm....in no order--Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, Jori Hulkonnen and Tiga.
  11. Lol, I guess you could say that:)
  12. Here comes the bride... and... IT'S ME! I know some of you had your suspicions, and others figured it out, so yes, its true! Maudy asked me two weeks ago in the sweetest way, {I'll spare you all the mushy details} and I couldn't be happier! We were going to wait to tell people for a while--but couldn't wait anymore! No dates are set yet, but a great party is definitly in the future! I love you baby!
  13. As for me and breaks{see the prior comment about breaks being my hell}--I've experienced it, years ago and present day {by Maudys influencing}, and I know it's not for me:) Techno, tech-house, deep house, electro, even rock is where it's at for me! I have a pretty high tolerance for just about any genre, but breaks is about at the bottom of that list...
  14. The whole point was to somewhat give it away in a clever manner. If this person shows, it will definitly be a night to remember! {and quite the birthday treat for Christian!}
  15. Spending a week in Mexico, visiting family in Cleveland, going to school, working, my birthday and visiting Maudys parents in Rome....
  16. A Legend indeed! Let's just say, if this person shows, it'll be live at Baktun, not the Liquid room! For those who know, see you all there!
  17. Sitting on the beach in Mexico and hearing some techno tonite. Oh yea, and also do a few last things with Maudy;)
  18. you know I'll be there! Everyone should come and throw mugwump off the boat! No more robot, crickket, dog threads! see you Sunday at the ticket booth!
  19. I would love to hear Kevin again-another example of a great dj and a great guy. However, my weekend is way too busy as it is,full of Tiga, boat party, mermaid parade and a birthday party.
  20. For your information, it's not Maudy, it's happening to a friend of a friend and is in his context purely hypothetical. Slackerdom? If you only knew how many hours he spent at the office...To me it sounds like you have a personal issue that you need to take up with him off the boards, this is the second time today I've seen you make comments like this. Maybe we should rethink who needs to "quickly get to the hospital before its too late", because had this been Maudys own problem, your lack of compassion is completly sick.
