its not on the flier...like i said - the promoters were saying to people "code at nation, just like buzz". it wasnt just one person either - ALL the promoters were saying it. and from what i read on the buzz board - the same thing was going on wednesday night. that aint right.

ok - so this kinda bothered me this weekend. walking out of club 5 on friday night, there were three code promoters handing out fliers, saying "code at nation, just like buzz". i saw a post about this on the buzz board the other day saying that they were doing that outside the ltj bukem show, and thought it was kinda strange that they would do that - but after seeing it for myself, i was pissed. granted - its at the same club, but to me it doesnt seem right to tell people that a party is going to be 'just like' a previous party. two things...if it is going to be "just like buzz" - why is it being aloud to happen? i thought nation couldnt hold any buzz type events. and how is a party with hip-hop and salsa 'just like buzz'?

bukem was pretty cool tonight. are there no CP drum 'n' bass fans? the place was packed - and people were grooving until pretty late. its good to see that kinda thing in DC on a wednesday. funny thing tho - bukem is such a little bitch that he decided that the 5 DJ booth was not 'suitable' for him. he made them build a dj booth for him on the mezzanine level. they had to bring in special monitor speakers for him also. apparently he did the same thing at buzz...bitched and complained, and threatened no to play. that shit is rediculous. there is no reason to act like that just because you can...what a tool.

yeah. i guess i figured that coombs would be all breaks because of his finger lickin' label. it was weird that nite - there was nobody out...sonar was dead...where was everyone? the dancefloor at trust was going off though - and thats what really means something to me.

trust was pretty phat saturday nite. Randall Jones rocked it early, and Lee Coombs finished it. i was surprised by lee coombs' set. bouncing back and forth between breaks and prog...i thought he was strictly a breaks dj.
