Back in mid September, before the anthrax scare and close scrutiny of the mail, I had ordered some pain medicine and sleeping medication online because my doctor, who has a rather conservative approach to pain management and similar problems, refused to prescribe either. I felt desperate then, as pain from peripheral neuropathy and lack of sleep were making me a wreck in the mornings, when I had to get up and get to work. The package never came, and I suspected it fell victim to closer scrutiny of the mail in the wake of anthrax discoveries. Today I received a visit from the police, and tomorrow I must talk to a police investigator about my "illegal" ordering of prescription medicine via the Web. Oh boy, just what I need. The terrorists have affected many more lives than they will ever realize. MIKE PLEASE BE CAREFULL!!!

Hi Vikki Thanks for asking:) It did not go so great. I went in there w/a migraine....and it was much worse when I left. She was able to get some knots out of my back though. I am not blaming the accupuncture for my headache....I am sure it takes a few sessions to show signs of relief. I am going to try a few more sessions and see how it goes. It was however very relaxing. Having needled in me was a crazy experience. She placed them in spots that were supposed to help increase the flow of energy and then she left me there for about 40 minutes!! Wierd..... I will give you an update in a couple weeks and let you know how it's working. -Christine

HI nycetouch ... I have heard nothing but BAD things about ordering meds online. They are either not legit, way too much money...or worse..they get arrested. BE CAREFULL. The only way to get them is really by asking around in your area. Good luck

I just can not believe they are doing this. Tilt and 94.5 advertised giving away $20,000 in prizes. Now there was 5 winners. We got #1. #2 and 3 won trips to New York and #4 and 5 skiing. I think we have some false advertsing going on here.

Okay...here's my story. On Halloween my boyfriend "supposedly" won first prize in the costume contest for being the American Flag. First place won a cruise for two, all expenses paid to the Bahamas. This was almost 4 months ago. So Danny and I were extreemly excited as you can imagine. It took a month and a half to ever recieve anything and all we got was a vochure for the cruise. Nothing about airfare. We also had to pay $100 deposit and $90 processing fees. Took another couple weeks to find out what the deal was w/airfare. They said that once we get the dates for the cruise they will take care of the airfare. So we go ahead and send the vochure away...only to have to come back a couple weeks later saying that it is VOID!!! So we get in touch w/94.5 and they send us out another form. We go ahead and resend this one...GUESS WHAT??? IT CAME BACK VOID AGAIN:mad: This was last Thursday. The man that has been dealing w/this said that he would resolve this right away. But NOTHING is being done. Anyone have any ideas what we should do? I think this is terrible serivce. We were so excited when we won this..now I sort of wish it never happened:( I am just getting so annoyed and I need some help. Thats my story..thanks for listening -Christine

:laugh: Your too funny. Well, you're right. They do help w/the pain but only temporary relief. I have been taking them since the accident. At first it weas GREAT:tongue: , but now I am sick of being on meds all the time. Which is why I am hoping the accupuncture will work for me. I just got a call from my doc and he wants to switch me to OC's! YIKES.

I know..what is the deal w/Jamaican psychics? I went to Jamaica last year and they were all over the place. :goofy:"Let me tell you your future"

I am going in for my first session of accupunture tonight. Have any of you tried it yet? I was in a bad car crash three months ago and I am still in severe pain. I suffer from torn ligaments in my neck and muscle spasms. I have been told that this is going to help. Any of you know a thing or two about it???? -Christine:)
