Thanks sobeton and b-side. You don't know how much your advice helps me out. Our plans were all set and now I am scurrying around to put all the plans together. I found a hotel on Miami Beach. (BEACHCOMBER HOTEL BAR AND BIST, 1340 COLLINS AVENUE,Miami Beach, FL). DO you know anyting about it. Its only $50 a night to stay so that kind of scares me. But it looks really nice...however...looks can be decieving. Any hotel recomendations? So what is Nikki's beach all about? Outdoor club? THANKS AGAIN -Christine

Hello Floridians... I am coming to Miami next Friday for a little over a week. We were supposed to be staying at a friends house in Ft. Lauderdale and rent a car. But yesterday those plans fell through. So we decided to stay right on South Beach. I am planning on hitting up as many clubs as I can. Space, Level, Crobar, etc. Are most of the main clubs in walking distance or a short cab ride? I'm trying to save money and I want to see if we NEED to rent a car or not. What do you all think? P.S. What are the best clubs in Miami in your opinion? This is my first visit. CAN"T FRIGEN WAIT!!!! -Christine

Area 2 WAS AMAZING! Tiesto, Digweed & Cox rocked the shit out of that place. I have seen digweed and Tiesto before so I knew what to expect. Great as always. Never saw Cox live before just heard a few of his cd's. He dropped so many great beats I don't think I ever stopped moving. The place was not too crowded. There was so much room to dance. The crowd was diverse but I did not run into any assholes. Always a good thing. The only negative to the day was the heat index. WAY TOO HOT. Thank god for the a/c in the tent. It was a life saver. Walked over to the main stage a few times. Blue Man Group was okay..much better in a smaller setting. They only played music I think...no audience participation. Bowie was a bit depressing..too slow. Moby was pretty good. Like Kaydup said....nice way to end the day. Oh ya....Busta Rhymes was a NO SHOW!! A few of the people I were with were very upset about this. He was the only hip hop act scheduled to show. Anyway...it was a great day...hope something like this comes around next year. Christine

Hey Miami I am coming down to sunny FLA for a week the end of August - beginning of Sept. Was wondering if anyone could give me some advice as to which clubs we should hit up when we are there. I know exactly what you are talking about. I smoke weed occasionally but last weekend was only the 2nd time I have done K. I was rolling as well. I started the night out w/2 rolls...then i only did about 1/3 jar of K at most. About an hour later I smoked a joint w/some people. My boyfriend and I went down to the beach at Seaside Heights and we were WAY WRECKED!! Seeing so much shit that totally was not there. We thought that there was two people having sex under a blanket...come to find out..IT was a pile of sand!! I kept seeing people that were not there. It was too freaky. Don't think that I will touch that shit again.

This is without a doubt the sicket vocal I have ever heard. It brings me to tears every time I listen to it.

Hi marianne I am a 24 yr old female so you will probably like some of the places I suggest. My fav. NYC club is Exit. I would suggest Pravda or the Roxy on Friday night. Pravda is much smaller than Roxy, (Roxy is the biggest club in Boston.) But I like the crowd at Pravda much better. More class. No teeny boppers. The music style is similar at both. The Big Easy is also a good time. Saturday Avalon is my top suggestion. If you have even been to Tempts in NJ that is what it reminds me of...a little bet better though. DJ Nailz is resident on Saturday's and he is a local favorite. If you have any other questions let me know...I would be happy to help you out. Also...when you figure out where you want to go...try to get a hold of me or someone from the Boston board..I am sure they can hook you and friends up and put you on the guest lists. For years I have gone to their summer shows at Great Woods. I went two years ago and I will never go again. Like you said....it was tons of tenny boppers all x'd out rollin w/glowsticks. WHAT??? It was too strange. It ruined it for me. Anyway....I think next Sat will be fun time.
