Anybody else going to DJais tonite for reggae nite? It starts again. . .

Amazing. . .

I went there Thursday night, was a ghost town and a toolshed, all guys . . . i left at 11:45. Cops were everywhere, I passed 5 between there and red bank via going through Rumson. The bastards even charged $5 for parking. . .now that's lame. I loved the place last year, but it's gonna be a few weeks before I show up in there, and a while till i do a thursday. Thursday with 21 and up sucks unless we get some more people during the summer. . .

I used to go downstairs every time. . .but I got rather sick recently, and was able to narrow it down to that. . . . any advice on how to protect against that? And I went down on her twice . . .and she never returned the favor. . . needless to say, i don't go out with her anymore. . .

No, just the Wiz (I mean the Waz) is closed. . .I know personally, worked at their Eatontown store in Monmouth Mall. . . Yeah, guy there said they received a bunch of boxes of these disks, would assume all stores got the same.

But could the recording quality be any worse? Sounds like ass to me, and I love tiesto, have over 10 gigs of his sets and such.

Just was at a Sam Goody today, they had about 25 ministry of sound double & triple disc sets selling for 7.99. These cds usually are $25 or so since they are imports, there were some decent cds, like Clubbers Guide to Ibiza 2002, Ferry Corsten, lotsa other stuff. There were a bunch with a lot of the cheesy KTU music, so if you like that check that out. . . if not, there is some good real music, I picked up 4 of them. Very good. . .check that out . . .

Yes, no doubt. . . i also picked up 8 tickets for me and my friends for matrix on wednesday nite at 10, the first showing of it.

July 4! Cancer power!

I'd much rather be at tradewinds or Bar A . . . during the summer both are fun and decent crowds. It's gonna take forever if you're taking ocean ave or 35 going north. . . take route 18 and such as much as possible. Jenks is the place where the friend who hasn't been out in a month is like "ohhh, let's goto jenks!" damn. . .i hate jenks almost as much as headliner.

Not a big fan of the place. . . would take Tradewinds over it any day. Overcrowded, generic crowd, stuck-up women, shitty parking, and asshole cops. I accidentally bumped into someone walking around and 15 seconds later i was kicked out. No cellphone reception so I couldnt get through to my boys to tell them that bitchnut cops had tossed my ass. . . took about 45 minutes before one of my boys realized what happened. It seems that almost everyone I know has a similar story of cops fucking with either them or one of their boys. My brother even got a ticket for paralell parking the wrong way on a 2-way street. . .bullshit of course. Fuck Pt. Pleasant.

I worked in a theatre when it was out . . .saw it on the big screen. . . really wierd, slightly odd, a little bit sick, but almost funny. Didn't really know what to say upon seeing it. . .

DJ Tiesto - January 2000, Jerusalem, Israel DJ Feelgood - seen him 30 or so times, always fresh, always on point, always banging. PvD - Nation, DC, 2001 - was a fucking trip. . .just amazing Judge Jules - Fever, Baltimore, 2001 . . . club was emptying, he was banging, reeeediculous, saw him day after PvD. Boy George - Nation, 2002 - You have no idea. . .just banging, just amazing. You have NO idea. . .

Asbury Park is coming back to life. . . still has some ghetto, but a great place in Harry's Roadhouse. Opened in January, good bar/music setup, but not sure how it's gonna be during the summer, guessing it's gonna be the anti-DJais, anti-Bar A, anti Seaside, etc. . . otherwise, there's the Stone Pony, a classic place for rock & roll (think bruce springsteen), otherwise it's a bit of a hole.
