  1. Did anyone ever hear Rob Corbett when he was at the Limelight and Expo. I thought he was awesome. Here's a good pic of him djing at Expo. http://www.djcorbett.com/pictures/Corbett@Expo.gif
  2. Wakup, just curious how old are you. Also, did you ever hear Corbett at Expo. All i can tell you is what i heard, he played incredible house music.
  3. Here's what i recommend. Webster Hall on Thursday. Webster Hall is very large. Its the best place on Thursday. Roxy, Exit, Vinyl on Friday. Vinyl is much smaller then Roxy and Exit, but its as popular. Danny Tenaglia is the DJ there. Roxy and Exit are very popular and both are large places. Saturday, Sound Factory is by far the most popular club on Saturday. Sound Factory is very large. I also recommend Webster Hall and Vinyl on Saturday. Exit is also good on Saturday, just check who the DJ is, before Junior Vasquez takes over. Sunday, Vinyl which is the afternoon is good. 4pm to 12 midnight. There are also other good clubs like Discoteque which is good on Friday and Saturday.
  4. Who said anything about meeting a girl there. How was he good. You like Techno house. You like bad soul music. Then he played top 40 stuff, which anyone can play. What because he waves his hands in the air, you like that. Dude, i like a DJ that plays good music. The guy sucked. He's horrible.
  5. wakeup, you say, he spun nothing but shit such as robin s back then at the limelight so get a fucking clue. Who told you this? Quoth. Corbett spinned mostly house with some dance mixes. But the house he played was fuckin unbelievable. I forgot to mention, Corbett teamed with Gonzo at the Limelight. There were great.
  6. PFloyd40, dont take these idiots seriously. There whole life revolves around my posts on here. PFloyd40, I agree there all different, but when it came to the best house music, these are the top 3 Djs I heard. Who are the best DJs you heard.
  7. Also, Brian will tell people on his Sunday night show, that Vicious will be there. That place will be packed. I hear it holds up to 3000 people.
  8. Quoth, you are so stupid. I am not JudgeJules92. I dont even like Judge Jules. On Vicious going to the Bridgeview Yacht club. Shit, I cant make it. I got to see Donald Glaude. Lmao. Vicious is going to Bridgeview Yacht club, because the promoter who runs the Bridgeview yacht club, is very good friends with Johnny. His name is Brian. He's called the B man. He has that Sunday show on 92.7 that plays house music and dance mixes.
  9. Check out his site. http://www.djcorbett.com I spoke to Rob by email and he told me, the promoters aren't calling him that much in NY. What a disgrace. Rob you were awesome. I'm actually glad I went to Centro Fly yesterday and saw Donald Glaude. It showed me even more, how great you were. I'll put Rob Corbett with any DJ I ever heard, including Vicious and Jonathan Peters. Anyone that heard Corbet, when he was at the Limelight and Expo, saw something special. Corbett was unbelievable. He played incredible house music. Its sad, that the promoters aren't calling Corbett no more.
  10. Explain to me how Glaude Rocked. Half the music he played was bad soul music. He played alot of top 40 stuff and horrible techno music. I didn't go to hear top 40 music. I would have went to Culture club for that.
  11. gmccookny, he copied Arsenio hall, thats how he gets the crowd going. That was a good set he played. It was horrible techno music. Dude, go listen to Johnny Vicious, Peters, Sean Ink, Tony Draper to hear a great DJ.
  12. I am not clueless. Your the idiots. All you people kept telling me, that Vicious and Peters weren't one of the top 100 DJs. This is why I wanted to hear Glaude. I wanted to hear, what one of these top 100 rated DJs sounded like. I dont give a shit, if this guy can get the crowd going. He basically copied the way Arsenio Hall used to get the crowd going on his show 12 years ago. But who cares if he copied Arsenio Hall. He plays horrible music. It sucked. He plays bad soul music, top 40 music which anyone can buy in Tower Records and the worst techno music I have ever heard. I'll put it another way, anyone in NY that has heard Johnny Vicious, Jonathan Peters, Sean Ink, Rob Corbett, Tony Draper, how can you even compare Donald Glaude to these great DJs. Unless ofcourse, you like shit music.
  13. All i know is, i cant wait to hear the people's reaction about Donald Glaude. I still cant believe how bad he was. Can someone tell me, why he plays Techno. House is so much better. And that soul music he plays. It was so bad.
  14. Shit, did you have to tell me this. I wasted my whole night on that disaster, Donald Glaude.
  15. I went to Centro Fly with a friend of mine. We heard such great things about Donald Glaude. Plus, he was rated the 57th best DJ. To sum this up, he absolutely sucked. He starts off playing techno music, It was bad techno music, then he starts playing bad soul music. I can tell you, house music is superior then techno music. Then Glaude about 2 30 am, stopped playing techno music and played bad soul music and top 40 music the rest of the night. He played don't you want me baby by Human League, don't stand so close to me by the police. He wouldn't even let the songs finish, he would interrupt the songs and start scratching. What a joke, he totally messed up these songs. Who ever rated this guy the 57th best DJ in the world needs to get there heads examined. He's not the 57th best DJ on my block. Not only is he not in the same league as Johnny Vicious and Jonathan Peters. He's not in the same Stratosphere. Give me a DJ who plays good music. I don't want a DJ, whose scratching every song and stops playing the record in the middle of the song, so he can get a reaction. This was a disgrace of a performance. Centro Fly should give me back my money. For all the people that don't like Tony Draper. I wish you were at Centro Fly yesterday, then you would realize how good you have it with Draper. Anyone who was at Centro Fly yesterday, can you tell me, this wasn't a horrible performance. Most importantly, what idiot told me Glaude Plays house. He plays mainly soul music, top 40 music and bad techno.
  16. I hear Justin's now seeing Jennifer Lopez. He ended it with Janet. lol.
  17. This was the girl's reaction, when she saw what Quoth looked like.
  18. These are the 2 best DJs in NYC. What i found interesting, they weren't even listed as one of the top 100 Djs. Here's the list. http://www.djmag.com/pages/top_100.cgi
  19. Question about Ann Savage. She must be one good DJ. Because she was listed as the 41rst best DJ in the world. To understand this, the 2 biggest DJs in NYC, aren't on the list. Jonathan Peters and Johnny Vicious. http://www.djmag.com/pages/top_100.cgi
  20. Is that a pic of Ann is the purple dress.
  21. http://www.getright.com/ A cool site, that lets you always resume partially downloaded songs. Its called Resume Downloads. If you ever download something and you get cut off, you can resume the downoad with this. You can also set it up, to download for a certain time. So if you want to leave the computer on all night. You can set it for 2 hours to download and after the 2 hours, the computer will shut off.

  24. antm28, If there was a monitor, well obviously, i wouldn't have to email the DJ. There are a couple of DJs on here, who give out there email address and they will tell you what they played. Yes, JP is cool, its just you got to know when to ask a DJ the name of a song. If any DJ looks busy and is mixing. I dont want to bother him.
