djjonstephen, the reason i brought this up. I went to Sound Factory Saturday. I got there at 1 55 am. I thought they would hold me up till after 2am, so I would pay 30 dollars instead of the 20. They just let me right in and I paid the 20. Thank you Richard Grant, for not being like the people at Roxy. By the way, the song people went loudest over, was I just died in your arms tonight. That 80s song with the mixed house beat. -
Can ANYONE tell me who SPUN Centro-Fly On 4TH OF JULY?

The one good thing about Sound Factory, when you get there, they let you in. They dont do what Roxy does, by keeping you online for 45 minutes. Someone tell the people at Roxy, people are getting pissed by what they do. Even Webster Hall, which is located in area, where tons of people pass by. The longest I ever waited online at Webster Hall, was 20 minutes.
-
Mike, yes other clubs keep you on line. See the thing that bothers me about Roxy. Roxy is located in the middle of nowhere. I could understand a club like Webster Hall, which is located in an area, where tons of people pass by, doing what Roxy does. But there are so few people that pass by Roxy. Ofcourse, I know drinks are expensive at these clubs. But i wanted to make a post about this. I wanted to get people's opinion on this. I want to bring up a point aguy2go said. Its on the post, Roxy Was Fucking Garbage! Its on the 3rd page. This is what he said. He agree's with me 100 percent. I hate to be so negative but Roxy was bad last night. If they are giving out flyers that say "no waiting in line and free before 12" I'd understand if they still have a line outside but to be fair they should have allowed anyone who had gotten on the line before 12 to get in free. Now I'm a drinker but I can usually have as much fun sober as I do drunk (well maybe not as much fun). Last night was just weak, I had more entertainment watching people getting kicked out for stupid shit then from the actual party itself. The only reason I'm talking shit about the club, in good hopes that whomever promotes it in the future can try and make the club have at least a little bit more credibility. just my 2 cents.

By the way, dont Mike Rizzo and Denny Tsettos look exactly alike.
-
This was the first time i heard Tsettos live. I'v heard him KTU Sanctuary a couple of times and when i heard him, he sucked. He played horrible house music. But i thought he was great the 1 hour i heard him at Roxy yesterday. It sounds like, when I left, he probably played the type of house music he played on KTU Sanctuary.
-
I left Roxy at 3 30. My friend was tired and wanted to leave. I wanted to stay. I thought Tsettos was awesome the first hour. Though the last 2 songs he played, when i was there were ok. Rizzo did play some pretty bad house tracks, but he played a couple of good ones. I agree with you on one thing, Roxy has the worst lighting. Whats interesting, that big disco light in Roxy. Its located above the middle of the dance floor. It went on. This was the first time this happened. When it went on, it totally lit up the dance floor. You could see everything now. Then the idiots at Roxy shut off that large disco light. Then it was pitched black. My advice to Roxy. Keep that large Disco light on. Its so much better, when you can see the dance floor. As i matter of fact, they should buy 2 more of these large disco lights and have all 3 on. It was so fucking dark in Roxy. If someone from Roxy is reading this. Please keep that big Disco light on all the time

Why Does Roxy always keep people waiting outside for 45 minutes, when there is no one in Roxy. I got there at 11pm. They let me in at 11 51. I had to wait 51 minutes for nothing. It was so brutally hot outside. I was sweating so hard from the heat. These idiots at Roxy always do this. They make people wait outside, when no one is in Roxy. I swear, i wanted to leave, because of this. What the fuck is up with that. Do these people at Roxy, think by having all these people waiting online, that people will see this and go to Roxy. Thats bullshit! Roxy is located where practically there are no people. My Advice to Roxy, stop having people wait online for no stupid reason. Let them in. I"m sick of waiting. I got to say another thing. It was pitched black in Roxy. Roxy has the worst lighting. Whats interesting, that big disco light in Roxy. Its located above the middle of the dance floor. It went on. This was the first time this happened. When it went on, it totally lit up the dance floor. You could see everything now. Then the idiots at Roxy shut off that large disco light. Someone sent me a link to Webster Hall's site. It says DJ Averny and DJ Sharp are the DJs tonight. It also says it costs 15 dollars to get in. Someone explain this to me. Wasn't Vicious and Baez supposed to be there. Here's the link on Webster Hall's site. https://www.webster-hall.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=NARS&Product_Code=FEAT0703&Category_Code=FEAT

If you have to go to one club in NYC, where?
danwilson replied to chasfiji's topic in New York / New Jersey
It depends. If your 18 to 21. I would say Roxy on Friday, or Exit on Friday. Both are great places. Buts its a young crowd. Centro Fly is good on some nights, depending who the DJ is. Ofcourse SF on Saturday Night Sunday mourning is good. -
Deep Dish is another great name
-
DJ Dirk Diggler.

You ever hear the house song, Palladio by Silent Nick. This house song sounds really cool. Its on the CD, Best of House, Vol. 2. You can listen to it in Tower records and Virgin. They have the CD, where you can hear it. KTU, Z100 and 92.7 should play it. Its alot like Castles in the Sky. This song would definitely do good on the Radio.

I got to go with Judge Jules

So I'm chillin' at Barnes & Noble gettin' my read on, when I stumbled on a feature about George Acosta in Mixer Magazine. He's quoted as saying it makes him feel good knowing he has more influence than Sasha & Digweed. George........put the crackpipe down and think before you speak.

Do you have ever get backsup from your toilet, where it overflows. I found out why this happens and how to prevent this. The reason why your toilet overflows. The pipes that go to your sewage in your house or apartment. The sewage is located near the 2 big tree's infront of your house. During growing season in Spring, the Roots from these trees starts growing and gets in the sewage. The roots then clogg the sewage. When you call a plumber, he usually charges 125 to 150 dollars to clean the roots. This plumber I use, told me a secret. There's a product called Root Kill. It costs like 7 dollars in Home Depot. All you do is use this product twice a year, in May and September. You use it, during growing season and it will kill any roots that get in your sewage. You just flush the Root kill down your toilet and it will destroy the roots that are clogging the sewage. Plumbers dont want you to know about this product. They want your toilet to overflow, so they can charge 125 to 150 dollars on you. If you have a Cesspool instead of a Sewage, this company also makes a Root Kill product for that. Here's this company that sells this stuff. Its called Zep. Home Depot sells them. Here's there webpage. At the bottom, they talk about this Root kill Click here: http://www.zepcommercial.com/pages/catalogpages/drain.html

With Crobar coming soon. There is no way all these clubs can survive. I dont think there is enough people to make all these clubs make money. Thats why some of these clubs are charging 30 to 35 dollars to get in. We already have, Roxy, Exit, Vinyl, Sound Factory, Centro Fly, Shelter, Webster Hall, Discoteque, Ohm, Cheetah, then smaller type clubs lNV, Cream. There's also Culture Club.
