i had mine done but had to take it out for work......it looks good on people depending on how high or low you get it and how big the jewelry is...........as for pain doesnt hurt at all.........you will feel pressure when its goin thru but no pain.......and too compare i guess you can compare it to getting tongue pierced if you have that.......it all depends on the person too but i think you should be fine! as for treatment use listerine to rinse out mouth afteryou eat smoke drink etc .........
