  1. I should have mentioned that at of all the places I have recently visited. NERVE has definitely been throwing down the sounds that I prefer. Maybe one of these days we can merge or sounds together and show everyone what real underground dance music is. Something that should be felt as well as heard. Keep up the great work. OBBY
  2. I hope the bathroom chat was productive. :D Glad your enjoying the site Biz. It has been somewhat of a mission updating the files myself but if you want something done right...you have to do it yourself. All you have to do now is get these type of sounds to be played in our night clubs here in Miami so that I do not have to depend on myself nor my tables to please my ears and my friends as well.. J/K Anyway, I think a rather have it circulated in the underground where it is appreciated more. Peace, OBBY www.soturecords.com

  4. Attn: Break Beat Freaks (Progressive Heads Too) One of my favorite vinyl's right now. The progressive mix by DJ-19 on the flip can only be described as...........WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats to the Spundae Recordings crew. Finally signing Momu was a smart move. Momu is a power tag-team vigilante duo made up of Jondi (of internationally renowned production team Jondi & Spesh) and Mark Musselman, one of San Francisco's most acclaimed breaks DJ's. Momu's sound to date; wicked breaks, future tech sounds, breathtaking melodies, sinister FX, and devastating arrangements that wreak havoc on the dancefloor. Their upcoming Spundae releases (Spun 013) "Bring It On Back" is enriched with remixes by DJ 19 (19box Records) from Tokyo/Japan and DJ Düse (DNS Records) from Berlin/Germany. The release date to this track is yet to be announced so as soon as they are pressed again. Make sure to grab one quick. Sample Momu's - "Bring It On Back" here (All Mixes) http://www.groovetech.com/PhoenixData/SilverStream/Pages/srvltRecMed?SKU=39257 Enjoy, OBBY www.soturecords.com

Momu's - "The Dive" Wow, what a track. I actually gave this vinyl to Edgar V. for his birthday last year. Don't know if he used it or not (don't think so) but do know that Momu has been ahead of the game for a while. Hope you liked it Edgar. I specifically remember posting a thread about "The Dive" a while back when I first landed it. Didn't get to many responses then so it's nice to now hear that people are now catching up and appreciating Momu's sounds. Also, regarding Aphasia's – Acapulco Here are the other mixes that are floating around on the Hooj Label. Acapulco (Chris & Kai's Acid Trip) Acapulco (Q6 Remix) Acapulco (Original Mix) Say Hello (The Crazy Tron Mix) Hope this info helps. OBBY www.soturecords.com

  8. FYI For those of you useing Kazzaa. There is a plug in called "Diet K" that will reduce the amount of pop-up's on Kazzaa and also speed up your search results. I myself have been using it and Kazzaa seems to run much better now. Download the plug-in here www.dietk.com OBBY www.soturecords.com

  16. Let me start off with this disclaimer" EVERYONE DID A GOOD JOB!!!!!!! I personally expected to hear something different. Something out of the usual. After all, Cool Junkies did mention that the judges would be voting on "mixing skills" and "music selections". I remember visiting their website and reading "Try not to throw the usual known tracks." So what do I think.....these "judges" are going to enforce their rules and Space 34 should be throwing some new and unheard of sounds on Saturday night. I went with the mentality thinking that the three contestants each have one hour to shine and being that this was the last judged event, I can only guess that what they threw was the best of their best in their collection. To be honest with you I just didn't feel it. I do think everyone did well but the last thing I heard where new sounds that would stick in my head. But then again, who am I to judge????????????????????? What do I know?????????????????????????????????????? Again, everyone did a good job. Unlike others reviews, I thought the remix of "Clocks" was pretty tight. That must be like the 8th remix floating around. Mad props to Space 34 for hosting this event. Should definitely be done more often. OK, you guys can attack me now. What did you think about the event? OBBY www.soturecords.com
