  1. How far is the Roney away from action? I heard its a little far off - what blocks do you guys reccomend staying in between?
  2. Where can I get this? - any help would be appreciated
  3. Will he be on at those times from now on? B/c I have been so disapointed w/ the music @ Seven for afterhours 3 or 4 times since May (enough to make me not want to go back - same music as every other club plays) How about a good DJ that spins current NYC style house w/ good tribal and progressive beats - Not this trancey and euro vocal crap. I'm moving out there next month and hope I'll find some good music other than Holiday weekends.
  4. Anyone know what ever happened to this place. Last I heard about it was in early spring that they were still fighting for part of their licence. Anyone have an update on the situation? Its a shame b/c the pics and specs for the club looked nice.

RA should be great....Danny Howells is there that night http://www.vegas.com/nightclubs/events.html
  6. I'm in total agreement w/ roblilv on this one...these are all local DJ's and the electronic/house music in Vegas is horrible (Most people I know from Chicago and the east coast would agree) I make it a point to stay away from places like this. Almost every club advertises on their web page or flyers that the bring in "Top international DJ's" and few actually follow through on it. If you really want to do something different, take a look at what ICE is doing. I've been really impressed w/ the talent they have brought in so far. In Vegas, most of the clubs look amazing, but you need to really do something special to stand out when the club scene is so satuarted - and that usually comes down to the music

Compared to all the other places out there - the place is descent at best. Main room plays top 40 and hip hop - there is a 2nd room that plays house but it was DEAD! If your looking for a lounge, I would definitely reccomend TABU in the MGM
  8. Lots of good places to go....I would definitely check out Crobar - just remodeled & supposedly done up real nice. Roger Sanchez is at Vision on that Saturday night for a Spundae Party - place is huge w/ 4 or 5 different rooms of music. Rive Gauche and Whitestar are also descent. Transit is also pretty good on Saturday's.
  9. Best site to check out for info is http://www.vegas.com/nightlife/?f=subhp&t=mnightlifet&vc1=1&vc2=tabs&vc3=ngt You can purchase admission, VIP passes and tables for most of the clubs. They have a profile for most places on there as well to describe the atmosphere, dress code and music. A big part of having fun in the Vegas nightclubs is what type of music you like. There will be georgous looking women wherever you go - that is a given. Most of the clubs look amazing but only a select few play good house music. Post a little more info about what you are into and I'll give a few more suggestions
  10. It really depends on what kind of music you like. Rain is a great club looks wise...but they play mostly hip hop and older comercial dance music which is not my thing. ICE, Tabu, Drai's, and Studio 54 & Ra (at times) are the only places that play good house music. House of blues is good on Sundays. Pretty much everywhere else plays hip hop and top 40
  11. Elaborate on this...I'm very interested. I'm moving out there from Chicago in January and want to know what job market is like outside of the casino industry
  12. Either go with some girls or get there early. On the weekends, Most people go for afterhours and get there between 4 & 6. I think it opens at midnight and the line is probably a lot less hectic. I would definitely check it out - probably the best looking crowd in Vegas
  13. Yeah, it is on Harmon...2 blocks down from the Aladin Here is a link w/ some of the parites that weekend....scroll down a bit on Friday http://www.vegas.com/nightclubs/events.html
  14. 3rdflfactoria - I saw your post about tables/VIP for Halloween. I just bought a package off vegas.com for 2 VIP admissions and $100 in bar tab for $135 for JP's party. From all of big parties listed it seems that admission everywhere is $30 - $60 anyways plus the whole upstairs of Ice is VIP and is supposed to be NICE - overlooks the main dance floor and DJ booth. Not to mention $100 bar tab and no line...they have packages for bigger groups too...check it out http://shop.vegas.com/clubs/tickets.jsp?club=20&date=20031031〈=en&src=
  15. Not lying...I couldn't beleive it when I first saw it either....had it confirmed by the moderator of Jonathan's board....Ice is a great club...Lots of good shit going on that weekend so far http://www.vegas.com/nightclubs/events.html
  16. Jonathan Peters (NYC - Soundfactory) is gonna be spinning their Monster Ball on Hallween night @ Ice. I was just out there a few weeks back thinking this would be a great room to hear him in the main room - nice lights and system. LOTS of good parties that weekend - I can't wait!!!
  17. I'm from chicago and have been there b4...place is fucking amazing!!!! One of the best club experiences I've ever had.....Better Crowd, Way Better Music, and the vibe and energy of the club is nutz. Chicago only wishes that we were lucky enough to have a place half as good as Tempts. Can't wait to go back to the Jersey shore for Labor Day!!!!
