  1. Convincing girls to do a 3some of "Lady Lumps", dance and all classic. Always prefaced with "oh, do a shot of Patron, honey, it will help you get into"
  2. A few weeks, I lost my karaoke virgnity, relatively late in my life. Even though I had appeared in musicals most of life on stage, I never done karaoke nor cared to be around people who did. The fear was pretty prevelant even for myself and my friends that would go to it. However, I got my karaoke stamina a few weeks back and ever since then I have been on a whore rampage of karaokeness. In the car - song comes on - Im immediately testing to see if I can sing it without breaking 3 or more beer glasses. On the computer - going to YouTube.com - to see if I can pull off "Jaded" By Aeromsith since the crowd gave me huge applause for "Janeys(sp) got a Gun." The love of karaoke is strange. There is the cowboy who requested his honkytonk songs. There's the girls who request their r&b ballads. There is the musical theatre twosome that request Little Shop of Horrors. Do I have a sound? A style? No. Should I? I have no clue. If I can sing it without breaking my tonsils, Im down for it. What are your favorite songs? I luv doing duets with girls of the Grease Megamix (5 songs). Any Aerosmith. I even tried Old Man River. Ive rapped - usually missing every third line. Then there is the fun of convincing friends to do a song that is much more sadistic than they think and watching them grasp for air at the six minute mark. For me, its become a weekly affair. I long for it. Today the national medical news said singing - even off key - makes people feel better. Funny though --- you're breaking other people's ear drums can make yourself more healthy.
  3. She is not that pretty enough to get a stalker.
  4. Brandon - Jet review was above. Great venue, great music, killer drinks, and staff couldnt be nicer.
  5. I was there @ Jet last Monday. Loved it. Will bump the review so you can read it.
  6. I adored Jet last Monday (you've probably read the review) and I was going into it have a lot of people telling me how much I would not like. I really liked it, the people I was with liked it, cant wait to go back, and been telling my friends/clients to go there. My suggestion to make a great night, really do the back rooms first early in the evening (esp cuz the ratios were very good in the back rooms at first, and because my bartender was AMAZING)... and then come back into the main room later when the girls have hit the dancefloor. And befriend the female staff there - they are hot and super nice people.
  7. You know, if you really need to spam this much, maybe you should try Google Ad Works. It's targetted advertising. Ed's post was about asking advice, of which you gave none. Nowhere in there did he or anyone else ask for hookups, or what anyone's corporate position was.
  8. The strange thing about Vegas is that you really get a national energy the entire time .... the only people who dont harness that are the ones that arrive in town with not enough sleep at home, or the people who over eat at the buffets.
  9. I expect a few times before May myself based upon the fun last weekend ... and also one time in your next of the woods too, some Washington Av fun for me.
  10. Since people have been asking us about hotels also this week, here's some help about Vegas hotels. Any questions, here to help.
  11. thanks man. Lifes too short. We are all here to make sure everyone lives it great.
  12. Empire is my favorite spot. And if I understand you as I think I do, you'll Empire and Drais the most. Empire has hard hitting house in a darker, more bruting less polished venue. Drais' is kicking to 7 am so if you have the legs do Empire 4 to 6 and Drais 6 to closing. Drais is plush sofas, wooden floors, bright lights and banana trees, in a basement setting with red walls and black design (french like Victor Drais) with more softer but excpetional house.
  13. lola : lalate review of 2007: below. ed: my buddy got thrown out of pure on tuesday ahahahahh
  14. Exactly lol.. Im a Drais boy. And she was looking to make her referral fee (not sure how much they make, cabbies make decent bucks) ... But the next day I noticed her referral card didnt even have her name on it, she didnt fill it out lol (dumb lol).
  15. lol me 2... i adore afterhours. Normal hours every night Im always saying "you going to afterhorus with us?" lol... I got in a HEATEDDD discussion with this one chick flirted with me at Body English who wanted me to come to afterhours at Spearmint Rhino (she was promoting for it) and I was telling her, no no no Its Drais tonight honey cuz Monday they be closed.
  16. lol 4 am Drais - every night open except Monday Empire Afterhours - Frid and Sat Seamless - definitely Sat and Sun, might be Frid also.
  17. House - Jet has a house Room. Tao has a House Room. Empire Afterhours has my favorite house (hard house) Seamless Afterhours is house Drais has my favorite chill house
  18. Venetian is a bit pricey. Thurs - Tao Friday/Sat - any of the best overall nightclubs. + afterhours.
  19. Pool Bars really rock. When I was at Ballys Pool for the Tao opening a few years back the staff started throwing us all these shots for no reason, just nice peeps. Unforutnately many of them are closed now for the season, hence my attraction to the outdoor bar at Caesars' corner.
  20. Best Location: Ballys, Caesars, Flamingo, Bellagio, Barbary Coast L: the intersection is those 4 properties. Mand. Bay is much further South. Venetian is decent - next to Wynn and Mirage.
  21. False and true. Flamingo's pool is much better. Ballys standard and VIP rooms especially are better.
  22. Boring. If I want to stand around a 1/2 ass lagoon put where a parking lot use to be against another wall, Id rather hit up the W or Viceroy or something better. They had a great venue Sunset Room and they ruined it with this concept that basically calls for standing around looking at a pond with my $30+ caraffee of margaritas in my hand.
  23. My favorites - My favorite location is basically the Ballys/Barbary Coast/Caesars/Bellagio Corner. Because I always do Drais, I always do Paris for food and drinks, I always do Caesars for drinks, its the most centrally located corner. Hard Rock has the youngest vibe; everyone looks 35 or under in the lobby. But Hard Rock doesnt give you anything to really do the rest of the day because its not next to any other big hotels. Best Location: Ballys, Caesars, Flamingo, Bellagio, Barbary Coast Next Best Location: Wynn, Mirage, Alladin (Planet Hollywood) Best Value: Ballys, Flamingo Best Hotel Vibe: Hard Rock Not on a Budget: Bellagio, the new Caesars tower, Wynn On a Tight Budget: Imperial Palace, Barbary Coast, Harrahs Where I want to stay soon: the new Caesars tower. The lalate article was originally going to have a lot of maps but there wasnt enough space. Here is one you can use to help look at the intersection yourself. Or of course, use Google Earth which has 3 dimensional versions of the buildings.
  24. Thanks. We were dealing with 3 venue hosts/promoters - one nicer than the other - leading up to that evening for vip treatment. There is a free guestlist but the line (which was guys and girls) was huge very early. But a few too many drinks - and 4/5 girls around us - at the Hard Rock bar made us forget what time it was lol. So I quickly went over to the Body English's door, pushed my way to the front, and say hello (to actually yet a 4th person) and told him how many patrons I had for line pass. He asked where they were. I pointed back to them behind the crowd. And he said bring them in and get them through the crowd. The vip treatment was that fast. Wonderful time. Wonderful staff. Questions about Hotels, let me cross reference this thread: http://bbs.clubplanet.com/3070665-post12.html
