Don't expect DJ Eco to be appearing @ Stereo anytime soon! Look it's his club, when you own or partly own a nightclub you all can do whatever the fuck you want! I do beleive the reason why he is putting his name on it is because there is another venue named Stereo in Manhattan. So that alone makes it stand out from the other spot. Also why outside promoters? Angel has Alan Sax on his staff who has promoted some very succesful parties and events in the past so who not stay in house. LES is a solid booking! I hope they are regulars @ Stereo! We need more music driven parties in new york in clubs that pride themselves on catering to dance music fans not bottle service reservations! I love the flier just for not having a Bottle Sevice reservation number or guestlist crap! Good for them! I will certianly be there on the 19th!

Danny Rampling is the first DJ that comes to mind when I think of DJ's retireing. Although Rampling wasn't as much as a household name here in the US as much as Oakenfold, he was wildly popular in the UK and Europe. Ill never forget the farwell essential mix it was like he was dying. Good for Oakenfold though. He was doing alot of music for movies, so this would only be the next step!

Personally I think Rivera is a pretty good DJ. Although not my favorite but one I always enjoy. I'm kinda miffed I missed his crobar set. If you don't like his productions, then you wont like his sets. He does play alot of his own stuff, as well as stuff that sounds like his. Benny Benassi, Tomcraft, Eric Prydz, he tends to play alot of their stuff, but can always hit you with a vintage track, or tribal bomb to throw you for a loop. Robbie is also one of the most genuine people in Electronic Music. If your a fan he is very approachable, and has always been extremely nice to me and my friends every time I see him.

I loved when he played Innoconte! He did fucking rock out! There was alot of space to chill out too, not overly crowded. GREAT NIGHT!

Listen I was a Friday night regular at Vinyl. Your not the only one that is dissapointed by Danny. My last 3 experiences were so bad I gave him up too. Look danny will always have his following, but look around at his current parties, not as many familar faces from days past. I guess the few year gap has something to do with it but Im with ya, not a fan anymore...
