What kind of holiday is Cinco de Mayo? I don’t know much about it. Doesn’t it have something to do with some Spanish or Mexican war? Because, in the U.S. it seems to just be a drinking holiday. I mean, we don’t really celebrate anything, like on other holidays… we just go to some Mexican restaurant, wear sombreros and drink coronas and margaritas til we pass out. Seems like we just borrowed some other country’s holiday as an excuse to drink. Not that there’s anything wrong with that. So what should I be toasting to tonight when I’m pounding those tequila shots??
