Help a fellow CP user out. I’m going to SoBe for a bachelorette party in August. We plan to do 2 things while we are there. 1. PARTY 2. Lay on the beach. Each will involve large quantities of alcohol. I’d like your help picking out the best hotel for a party. I’ve been to south beach plenty of times, so don’t try to tell me it’s the shelborne or something lame like that. I just want to find the hottest, trendiest, craziest, loudest fanciest hotel I can get where there rooms don’t cost over $500/night. Therefore no Setei either. We wanna be somewhere were we can hang out by the pool and sip strong daiquiris that were mixed by a sexy bartender and pick up on hot boys that we can invite to the evenings after party in out hotel room. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks! P.S. The savoy and the national had some pretty good prices on suites, but I’ve never been to either of those hotels, so I don’t know what to expect. Are either of them a good choice?

I am into house, and I’ve been to five. It was fun. Unfortunately none of my friends are into that kind of scene, so I rarely go to dance clubs it sucks, I miss it.

Actually, I’ve never been to any of those. We were about to go to Sesto Senso once, but it looked dead inside so we went somewhere else. Where are Mantis and cloud? I think we’re going to hit up the waterfront Thursday while it’s still nice out.

No, I don't want a pick-up joint. just one where the boys aren't afraid to talk to us and buy us drinks. Last friday my friend and i sat in a bar for 2 hrs while this table full of boys stared at us. Then when we finally left, one of them came running out the door after us, beer in hand, asking where we were going. Loo late idiot! Irish bars are ok but we dont drink beer.

slick, I know exactly how you feel. I was thinking about buying a condo in south beach a couple years ago for 200, now it’s worth almost 400. I wish I had the money back then. I’ve been living in DC for a year now, when I moved here prices where expensive… now they are astronomical. Properties in the metro area went up by an average or 30% in the last year. I wish I had the money when I moved here too. About a month ago I finally decided to go balls out and buy a place. I dropped a half mil on a 2 bdrm condo just across the river from geogetown. The location is so great that I don’t think the price will drop, but we’ll see. Let me know what you decide on… I’d be interested in knowing. copa

haha, no pictures, take my word for it. we are hot. you're right, international bar sucked. we were just looking for something new. somewhere with some good drinks and good looking people. haven't found a bar in dc yet that i can call home. hahahahaha
