He began Djing in the year 2000. By the end of 2001, he joined Israel Vich, to produce at the studio forming Vich & Berger. Early in 2002 he was invited by Frank Amoros to be a resident at the Club Heaven, where such renowned artists as Anthony Pappa and Danny Howells, amongst others have played. Later, he became a resident for Orbit's Peru's international events. During this time Christian has played in the majority of Peruvian Clubs and has traveled within South America to play at different venues. In the month of June under Rocksteady Records, the Remix "Control Freak" from Rowan Blades/Andy Paige, will be released, remixed by Vich and Berger. As well on the same label, an LPx2 with 4 original Tracks will be coming out. In the next 2 months you will be able to hear sets by Vich & Berger on Proton Radio and in the renowned show of John Digweed, Kiss Fm. Christian and Israel have also completed two remixes ("Vampiro" & "Fragil") for the alternative rock band, Libido. His talent and vitality make him an excellent DJ and producer. He is recognized and praised by his original tracks and his exclusive house sets. The fine and fluid structure of his sets makes a groove environment capable to wrap any kind of crowd. Israel's Bio: Age: 25 Base of Operations: Lima, Perú, South America Group Affiliation: Resident Orbit Perú DJing Style: Funky, Tribal, Tech, House This Peruvian born DJ and producer began spinning records in 1994 while living in the United States. After a year of honing his craft he moved back to Lima and participated in the birth of Lima's dance scene in 1996 (Blue Buddha and Zoë). Subsequent residencies at every underground club in Perú led to an invitation from "Fiesta" Frank Amoros, to be a resident for his fledging promotion company, Orbit Perú. Over the last 6 years Israel has held down residencies at every major dance Club in Perú and is widely considered to be the top DJ in the country and one of the best in South America. These two are considered the two top Djs in Lima - Peru ... they have opened for every big Dj you can think of in the past three years down there ... As local Djs they are the ones to congregate the most following and obviously teach the rest thru their sets ... This week saw their first release on Rocksteady (Rowan Blades label) titled: rowan blades & naughty g - control freak (vich & berger remix) You can sample it @ www.releaserecords.com ... under new releases ... In mid April ... Israel and Christian had another of their tracks included in a Kiss 100 mix ... this time Rowan Blade's ... the track was "lonely papaya smoothie" ... coming out soon on Warbled Music ... side B is called ... I remember those two times at Spin ... and the one at Crobar as well ... Lee's sound suits a smaller room much better IMO ... which doesn't mean it couldn't rock a big room ... like he did at Crobar and Spin ... Problem at Spin the 2nd time was it had the wrong crowd to see Lee ... Saleen included ... but that didn't prevent me from enjoying his set ...
