  1. Brad: If you get here on Saturday October 12 thru Tuesday October 15: You will miss Revolution Fridays @ Spin. Fun night if they have a guest DJ but have no one listed for that Friday Phat Music Sessions @ Lola on Fridays. Resident DJs Mono Henao & Chris Duque. Fun tech-house with an undeground feeling. My favorite hang-out if there are no visiting DJs on Fridays. Ongaku with Stryke and guests at Red is a great choice as well. Saturday October 12 Tom Stephan at Space should be a good one 'cause last time he was here he owes us one. DHM at Lola is a great start for Saturday, before Tom Stephan. Monday October 14 check out Back Door Bambi at Crobar. Lola has something nice starting on Mondays. Techno night. Should you stay for Tuesday, check out Rumi or Blue. Peace, Vipnerd
  2. Awesome night for a Tuesday @ Rumi. Check DHM @ Blue after that. Peace, Vipnerd
  3. Nubreedfan: Tom Stephan is at Space Saturday October 12. : Tribal and housy. Owes us two for last time. Tall Paul at Space Friday October 11: If you like hard shit. PMS on Fridays at Lola. Tech house with two new local guys, Chris Duque a& Mono Henao, that rock a nice underground vibe. DHM at Lola Saturdays, sometimes guest DJs even though they won't have anybody annonced for that Saturday aside from their residents DHM. : Great deep, dirty, jazzy house Stryke at Red Fridays, techno-housy, always a guest along with him. Not sure who would that be. Peace, Vipnerd
  4. Biz: I'll check him at Space opening for Danny. I would had liked to check him at Spin, like last time, but Zabiela is really, fuking good. Do you know if LP will bring him to the terrace again? Even for a Luna Session? His sunrise session last time was the best patio I've experienced. Peace, Vipnerd
  5. I'm there no matter what after 1 a.m. I'll be at Lola before at their open bar and checking out their resident Mono Henao. He's fucking good. Peace, Vipnerd
  6. Pod: I agree 100% W/U on the night Desyn played the patio. Are you sure he will open on Saturday? I thought he would play on Friday night. Please confirm..... And please, don't miss Zabiela on Friday.
  7. Count with me being there. I appreciate the quality DJs you guys are bringing. Can't you get Craig Richards and Lee Burridge? And please, if you get them start the party at 10 p.m. and make sure is a looooong weekend, that way they can play until 7 a.m. P.S.: I saw some sick visuals at Lola on Friday. Are you guys going to have them too??? I didn't see them for Hybrid. Peace, Vipnerd
  8. Nice move cooljunkie! Thank you for posting us with the free entrance info. This event can only be good, good, good. I heard James Zabiela open for Sasha last August. It was the first time I heard him on the decks live. For all you music lovers, this kid is some serious DJ. At age 22 or 23, he has gained the respect from true electronic music pioneers. His achievements are impressive: Bedrock Bedland DJ of the year 2001, has played alongside Digweed, Lee Burridge and rocked Space in Ibiza playing alongside Sasha & Steve Lawler last summer. But it is his addition and innovation to dance music that puts him far aside from most other DJs. His mix of tech house with breakbeats and little condiments of his very unique scratching skills adds to the energy his DJ booth emanates. Those skills landed him with an invitation to Pete Tong's Essential Mix last year and a breathless mix for Phat Plastic Sessions. It is unfortunate that Desyn Masiello plays that same night at Space, as I would have liked to catch Desyn there, but it is a no brainer that Crobar went far and away with Zabiela this Friday. Desyn demonstrated his skills @ Spin for us and later at the patio in Space, where he delivered one of the best patio performances (probably the best). Too bad that the sunrise crowd at Space is not there for the music but to chill down their bodies so they can have some sleep at some point. Because Desyn was almost forced out of the decks so those "sunrise music chillers" wouldn't leave the patio. Sad to say, they know little about talent, and Desyn's music did not "get" to them. Sunrise Sessions = Tribal Sessions. Coming back to Zabiela on Friday, he will be the main act at Crobar. Something I felt like asking for last August, hadn't been Sasha the main act. This time Miami will have the priviledge of dancing to his tunes as the main act. Too bad it wasn't a long holiday when clubs @ SOBE can open til 7 a.m., because this kind of talent should be granted a 7 a.m. call any weekend they are in town. Thanks again for the move cooljunkie. You are indeed cool. Peace, Vipnerd
  9. Hopefully Space will open there new place and realize there was nothing wrong with the original venue. What is wrong is the security team they have who treat everyone as if they were criminals. Just a tip. More than one person have been caught doing naughty things. And they were able to pay there way out of it. I guess that is why they are after every hand in a pocket. It is said that at 300 a bust they will find retirement in Miami pretty soon. Two guests from out of town were questioned for taking a french Tylenol. And almost kicked out for it. By chance someone spoke french and translated for them. Feeling like a suspect when one is clean kills the vibe of anyone. With all this said, I still will be there this Saturday for S&P and for Tarantella.
  10. Miami would be really thankful to have a Tyrant night with Craig and Lee. Also you could have Ivano aka "Il enano" open for them. That way he can expand his musical knowledge. Suggestion: Don't openly suggest who you plan to bring because they might end up opening for OG at Space. Money talks...
  11. Doubting between tables and bottles or good music? I have a table and some bottles at home!! You're more than welcome Saleen. A patio With Tarantella and inside Saeed & Palash is a no brainer I think. Later,
  12. I have been to the Friday night at Lola and can tell you something, you got to be out of your mind not to consider going there. I don't need to talk about other venues, but if it wasn't for Lola's Fridays, the true underground sounds of techhouse would be as lame as going to a club in downtown Bagdad. When clubs want to grow bigger, and bigger, the energy just dilutes. There is nothing like listening to good serious tunes in a smaller dancefloor. Just remember this, in the next few months: Mega is out. Mini is back. I haven't met the VJs but I have seen their visuals and they are unique to any Miami gig. I did talk to Chris, on of the two DJs, last Friday. I can tell you CPers, that duo at Lola on Fridays are some serious shit. And the vibe of that crowd can only be compared to the vibe Aquabooty had during their Rain days. Saturday I'll se you guys for S&P. I just hope they play before 3 a.m. Vipnerd
