OK. Thursday night is not the big night to go out here in So Florida. But, I have a bunch of guys who are coming in for a wedding this week and we need to hit the town on Thursday. I realize that Lola has the Big DJ Small Club thing…. Anything else?

We’ll probably start our night @ Scarlett’s (it’s a good meeting place in the middle) and work our way. I know the Diplomat is big, but it SUCKS!!! What else is there?

I believe Cedric Gervais at Crobar:D And U still have the big room with hip-hop:laugh:

After all, remember Club Planet does not only serve as a promotional tool and latest-tracks informative vehicle; it is...or at least it was a very cool arena for free-writing, animated discussions and mental free-styling.

I think you know what I mean.

    Just a thought

Pod.......if Iv-ano and Cedric can move that crowd, almost any non-club DJ could...

I would love to see Cindy Crawford (in town over the weekend) spin there. It's meant to be the dex of one of the top clubs in America, not a celebrity get together...

As for his track selection...can you bring back...Timo or JZ??? Crobar's vibe will make them still top, but their DJ selection...with a few exceptions. I'll wait for ST next Friday.;)

Ahhhhhhhh, and next Saturday, a full house.....Cedric Gervais!!!!!!!!!

He surely did. And he had Oakie and Nick in the booth.

Still confused. This guy has been out there for God knows how long...he is the DJ that needs to touch his vynil the most. Is it a tick or he has a tough time matching his beats...?

Stayed 'til 3:30. My girl had to work early...strip at 4:00 :)

Evelyn Posada, a colombian photographer living in Miami for many years, has prepared a photographic essay on DJs.

The exhibition is held until November 15th at "190", 190 NE 46th Street.

Among the DJs photographed are: Dave Seaman, Stryke, Confucios, Monk, Chris Duque and Mono Henao...

Evelyn is a music lover. She has been photographing bands for many years, works that have gained the recognition of MTV among others.

Her themes vary as much as her technichs. A few months ago she prepared an exhibition at the South Florida Arts Center dedicated to Cuba. An astounding presentation.

This is just another way of supporting your local music scene.

For more info call "190" at: 305-576-9779

Nice little place. Went there on a Tuesday. Will definetely check it out.

First of all, thanks Funketeer for the review on the party last night. It was a beautiful night of music, customes and friends, with an intense vibe.

Just for the records, last night's was just an event we organized. The party was huge, but that doesn't mean that we have anchored a night there. We had more people than in any of our nites when we were at Lola. And considering the events Spin and Lola had organized, I can feel more than happy with the outcome tonite.

I have to thank Gerard and Hugo for their inmense help. What a difference it is to work together as a team with a venue.

I apologize for not having posted a thread for this event. It was meant to be underground. Not one flier, not one poster, not one ad, just underground networking. Next time though, I will PM the CPers who have learned to appreciate what Chris and Mono can do to a dancefloor.

    Marco....

Got some e-mails for you last night at the party. Check your messages. And thanks again.
