  1. Thanks I will check it out.
  2. Actually Lola, Tiesto spun at Vision which is 10 times better than Crobar, he brought energy and great music to the venue. PVD was good when he was here, actually it was by far the best night yet, but I can understand where you are coming from.
  3. I have been waiting for this since last one, I am definately taking vacation days for this. I can't wait.
  4. Thanks Lola and everyone else for giving me your 2 cents on this...As in any move it is always a tough decision and definately a risk. Don't get me wrong, I love Chicago, but just need to explore my options and see whats out there and the top 2 things I love are fashion and clubbing so the best places would be Miami, New York and LA. The music scene here has gotten much much better within the last 8 months or so, and hear of nothing but bigger and better things. Anyway, Lola I will PM you and mrmovement thank you so kindly for that compliment and I do hope that you know I am the lil shorty on the right. Please keep the comments coming.
  5. Well for the longest time I have wanted to move down there. Even before my first time there last year for WMC, I wanted to and then being down there just made me want to even more. I am actually supposed to graduate within the next 2 quarters in Merchandising Management so fashion is my major. I have been looking for jobs down there on the internet but have been unsuccessful A few questions I need to ask you guys 1)How is the job market there? 2)How are the living conditions there? 3)Does it get too hot? (I love the sun/heat, but I am from Chi-town, where there is a lot of cold weather) 4)Would you not reccommend me moving from Chicago to Miami? Please let me know what you think of this. Thanks!

  7. I know a couple people that are setting up Nocturnal down there, the original being here in Chicago. It should be a great club from what I hear, I can't wait to check it out when I am down there for WMC.
  8. I think its regular admission is $70 and VIP is $120, and I think it is a 21 and over event. click on www.giant.com to register for details

  12. Dan, I am not sure what your picture has to do with this topic, can you please enlighten me? Thanks!
  13. Not too sure about the opening date, there have been may speculations of when it will open, but nothing official yet.
  14. It depends on what type of music you like. I would recommend Spundae at Vision nightclub, Crobar, maybe Sound-Bar if it opens at that time, Zentra has some good djs, Transit....as far as events coming in January, I don't think anything has been released yet. As soon as I find out I will post it on here.
  15. I agree. That has to be one of the best nights, of course next to PVD. The place was slammin, everyone was cheering, Tiesto threw down a trancy but hard set and he looked like he was having a great time and knew how to get the crowd going. I especially loved when everyone was chanting TIESTO! TIESTO! TIESTO! when his set ended, then he went on for an encore and when he ended that the chanting began again....AMAZING!
  16. I'm right there with ya...been thinking about moving there even before I went to WMC for the first time last year and when I went it just confirmed my love of the city.
  17. Well here in Chicago she did have a huge influence on the hat phenonmenon in our clubs...
  18. Yea I was thinking about that as well, there are a lot of people that I know that are doing the same thing, but for $400 just airfare it seems kinda steep knowing that I will be there for WMC anyway.
  19. Now I know this is a bit early, but I have to decide whether I should go to New York or LA for New Years...I have never been to New York and I know that once I get there I will love it...2nd to Miami of course...so I want to know if its worth going around New Years or if its a waste of my money seeing as though they will probably jack up the prices for everything...Any suggestions would be helpful..Thanks!
  20. Yep I agree with this one...just look for yourself A new place called Sound-Bar was supposed to open up...Opening weekend had Juan atkins, Kevin Saunderson and Derrick May...but it was all politics and the place was not up to code so they haven't opened....it is huge and from what I heard visually breathtaking. Oh well soon enough...for now we have kick ass djs coming to both Vision and Crobar until the 1st of the year.
  21. I like J-Lo...though I still think its weird she is engaged to Ben Affleck, but weirder shit has happened in Hollywood.
  22. Reading your reviews I am more excited now than ever for Tiesto here in Chi-town coming this Saturday the 26th. He will be at a Spundae Halloween event and I got my tickets today. I can't wait. Thanks for the awesome reviews and something to look forward to.
