  1. This poor guy can't get a break! What a judgmental society we live in... Imagine growing up in the childhood that Michael Jackson grew up in... he lost his entire youth in the name of fame. Of course he's gonna have some serious psyochanalytic issues to deal with as an adult... I'm not even talking about how his father beat him, verbally abused him, etc. The guy can't leave his house without being continually bombarded by a plethora of vultures...from the press to his diehard fans. All he's doing now is trying to make up for his lost youth... So yeah, he's got an amusement park in his house. His icon is Peter Pan - an eternal youth. Big deal. What he preaches is a lesson that our viscious and ignorant society can use to its benefit. He LOVES children. That does not, at least in my eyes, mean that he has SEX with them! It's a media image that has been perpetuated terribly. He makes a cancer kid's dream come true by letting him stay at his house. He cured his cancer. He hugged him. He held him. Why do these images stir such negativity in people's minds? He's making up for his own lost youth by attempting to eliminate all the pain and suffering that he sees other children going through. Call me a freak if you like, but I think we can and should all take Michael Jackson as an artistic and social genius. He is making the most of his fame... he's using it in a humanitarianistic method. He makes kids dreams come true, and in doing so his own dreams are fulfilled... The void in his life is filled. Why does one automatically assume that the guy is a child molester because he LOVES THEM? What a terrible and miserable social ignorance. Agree or disagree, but that's how I feel.
  2. I just got back from Sin City and all I can say is... Vegas baby! Spent NYE on the Strip... The place was insane! I went to Times Square a few years ago and the Vegas Strip kicks its ass! The weather was nice and where else can you bring your booze outside?? Went to Baby's at the Hard Rock on the 30th... even though it's at the Hard Rock, they play all hip hop. Place was jumping til' six in tha mornin Afterhours NYE everything was packed! You couldn't get into any bar or club anywhere near the Strip without waiting for an hour. About 3:30 we checked out Utopia - the place was fucking dead! The bouncer was hyping it up telling us it was gonna be jumping til' late in the morning... we get inside and there are six raver-wannabes on the floor and a private little thing in the VIP room. We got into the VIP pretty easily, but even that was dead. Never going back to Utopia again! Wanted to do afterhours at Ra but didn't anticipate the line! Shoulda thought ahead..oh well, there's always next year! Lost about $1500 playing blackjack and slots... shit's addictive. Everyone should check this little city of Sin out at some point... it's a trip.
  3. RUbber on NYE is going to be insane! Count me in!
  4. I'll be there! I'm gonna be in town that week with a group of friends. We're planning on doing a lot of casinos during the day, and hitting up Ra, Utopia, Ghostbar, Rain, etc. at night. CP meetup on 12/30 sounds hot! See you guys there!
  5. What does everyone think about these? Has anyone ever been to one? I know they are popular in Ibiza, South Beach, and other tropical climate places... but they aren't too prevalent here in NY so I've never been to one. So what's the deal - cool or not?
  6. If you could throw any type of party, anywhere in the world, what would it be? Include specifics... What city? What club? What people? How many people? What DJ(s)? Drugs? Alcohol? Any themes? Foam party? Underwear party? The options are endless... Club Planet's got the most creative club minds out there... let's throw the Greatest Party Ever Thrown!
  7. Airfare ran me about $380 from NYC to Vegas... but I've seen flights for under $300 round trip. Hotels vary in price, but on New Years they are always mor expensive.. I'm staying at the Flamingo, and my suite is running me about $250-$300 per night. From what I've heard, the cost of flight and hotel pales in comparison to the spending money you'll need on New Year's Eve in Las Vegas! I'm willing to test that theory out
  8. What's up Club Planet?? I'm gonna be in Vegas on New year's Eve too... Me and a bunch of friends will be staying in a luxury suite at the Flamingo Hotel, right on the Strip. All are welcome to come party any day I'm there... Let's hope Vegas never forgets us!
