with work and then FESTIVUS from 2pm till 9pm at BATTERY PARK and then SULLIVAN ROOM for DJ HEATHER i dont think i will be goin to vic.

gonna be even harder now that nick is the manager and theres a new door guy whos tough and also with the new membership card thingy happening as well.

718 sessions once a month on sundays is whats its all about for me at least at DEEP. Nothing realyl good besides that.

i forogot to say that it was funny how at the end of the night after security told people to leave. That after bout 30mins of chit chatting between deepdish and some of thier frineds, ali is screaming all over the place, YOU GOT MY CDS YOU GOT MY CDS, and hes being rmeiended every 2 secs i got your cds, guess he would flip out if thier were lost.

cielo,sullivan room, love are the best for me and my ears. While over at PINK ELEPHANT if it was a fri you went thatis DJ DISCIPLE (black guy) playing, hes been around since the early 80s. ANd he was the first dj i reallyliked when i use to hear his radio show on 89.9 during 89-93. Still play his tapes from time to time. He also plays CAIN on certain weds and le souk on certain mons. CROBAR to me is the best BIG ROOM for what its trying to do. But a night at cielo with whatever dj plays at crobar has always been more fun for me. Ex :roger sanchez, danny tenaglia, deepdish, behrouz,etc.

all drummers have annoyed me adn i think are not good for the scene, with the exception of one GUY. And his name is JIMMY LOPEZ, you can catch him at le souk weds and tues and thurs i think. The man since the first time i heard him compliments the djs very well, and every dj that has pass thru le souk agree and what him to play when they play their. He is that good, everyone else is just annoying.

a bit different then thier big room sound but i enjoyed myself very much good seeing so many INDUSTRY FOLKS in the house. Only complaint is why was the dancefloor empty until i got there and then until 30 or 45 mins of only me. INDUSTRY needs to get down more hehe. Dean was playing some good stuff and ali took over and started with some good old school sounds and toook it to another level from there, wasnt really feelings sharams set but it was still enjoyable to listen to. Anybody else make it out? Also to the people who thought that NICK the doorman was doing a bad job YOU should know that knows hes the general manager of the place and theres a new door guy for some of ya to try to get by. Bottom line GREAT NIGHT of music, and none of the weekend drawbacks and free as well hehe.

wutup homey, been great sharing a danefloor with ya for quite a few yrs now. Happy bday man im sure theres many more to share with you. Be good dance get drunk and have fun.

They along with another dj who i cant remember will start a weekly party called "THREE" at MOVIDA weds.

i use to love that song when it first came out. But will leave instantly if it comes on at ANY PARTY.

So much fun on sun with drew,argenis, eliseo, jerry, andres, dai, rissa. The beats were hot the dancers were hot and the VIBE the best of any party aside from SHELTER. THAT IS ALL. I know the sound n the music may not be to everyones liking on this board, but seriously some of ya willl never know what a REAL VIBE feels like until you step foot and let this party take you over.

like i said if he plays anything like he does like when he played at roxy or avalon or exit or anywhere over the past 7 to 8 yrs then im leaving super early. And CIELO is a HOUSE club for the most part so if he brings that high energy pot n pan shit it aint gonna work. NOw if he plays the way he did pre 97 then it might be interesting. And yes kfitz if a dj plays at avalon and then plays at cielo you can bet there gonna be 2 different sets. Much like roger sanchez when he plays crobar he plays everything but when he plays CIELO he keeps it deep sexy and throws in some old school. He says it all the time. Danny t as well played differently at cielo then he plays at spirit or crobar.

the party is from 8pm till 2am, which is perfect. Steve and amazing dj quentin an amazing producer who i hear can also beat the box pretty good. My first time hearing quentin but am i big fan of his work. Should be a fun night with the househeads.

This is really a suprise to me and more than likely i will be there, wondering what sound johhny is gonna bring to a club liek cielo. Will he play a more housey set like he use to play b4 97-98 or will he stick with his hard hard hard beats. If its the latter then i guess it will be a short night for me at cielo.
