just made it into work about 90mins late but f it. And the party was still goin strong from when i left. Walked in there around 11:20pm or so and couldnt wait to the main room was open. Finally it opens up and im sure most of the crowd was walking in there expecting danny to be banging it out already, but NOPE. He started off with a smooth oldie to me and a few peoples delight, while others in the crowd were like hmmm wheres that hard tribal. I guess some people still dont know that DANNY is not a hard tribal dj ONLY, BUT A MUSICAL GENUIS. Anyhow out of all the big name djs that have played crobar i have never seen anyone of them have a beautiful custom made booth for themselves. And to me it looked amazing. And from the first track he played you can tell he was having fun being the musical selector.Lots of faces from so many messageboards and from 6 hubert street faces that havent seen for months or even yrs, which was a great thing. Danny to me was absouloutely FLAWLESS from 12am till about 5am. Then kinda played a few tracks that were out there for me but the crowd was jumping all over the place. Then again BOOM he hits you with another amazing hr or 2. Then again it went from great to good to ok and tehn great all over again (for lack of better terms). Then at 9am he played "I'LL BE YOUR ELEMENTS" and from then until i left at 10:05am it was a great night of music. And what makes me more sad is that i know how much better its gonna get or is as i write this review. So many great songs but was really hoping to hear DIBIZA, but hopefully next time then. As for the crowd well what can i say i met a bunch of new people from all over the boards and from all shapes n sizes and styles. MUCH LOVE TO EVERYONE. Wasnt the greatest crowd ever but also wasnt a bad crowd at all. Def very into DANNY from what i saw. Also there were a couple of fights goin on so that ruined the party for a lot of people from what i hear. Overall i give the party an 8 out of 10 stars. And thats cause i dont know what im missing as we speak.

I feel happy for junior to be back at 27th street.

GUNERNICA is not a TECHNO lounger ONLY, and it jsut went for sale, the techno party that was there recently was called MILQ on mons i believe. Also had some good house djs on thurs. ANd for all you jp fanatics and history buffs that is where he got his start i believe.

Actually you wont be hearing how great those clubs were by 2020, but you will still hear about PARADISE GARAGE,, LOFT, GALLERY, you will still hear about THE SAINT, FUNHOUSE you will still hear about LIMELIGHT,SHELTER, you will still hear about SOUNDFACTORY, you will still hear about VINYL, you will still hear about TUNNEL, TWILO. Avalon n spirit, centro fly, and others clubs form other eras will only be footnotes comepared to other clubs.

ROGER played a DEEPHOUSE/SOULFUL set for hrs and then took it old school while i walked out the door around 330 or so. Didnt get to dacne much cause had to keep the lady entertain. But so many cool people from this board and other parties as well jumping up and down all voer the spot. ROGER S is sporting my hairstyle it seems lol. And it was fun just being part of that party but to bad couldnt really get down as much as i wouldve wanted to. But tonite for DANNY T its on yo. Cant wait for 3 months from now to hear the S MAN play cielo again. My persoanl fave track was when he played TEULE- DRINK ON ME from PROFILE RECORDS 1990 it was KERRI CHANDLERS first record, but hearing it on that system was Amazing.

All i know is DT comes on at 12am and i should be inside by then. Have ot be at work by 930am but will probably be leaving by 1030 or so, fuck my job. Anyhow most of ya know what i look like so hopefully i can put more faces to names. And a meet up at 4am sounds tempting but hard. Getting of the dancefloor for one reason, and then walkign thru people will be insane as well. HAPPY BDAY to some people who i read bday it will be. Among clubs/parties ive been a part of yes indeed. As for this topic im gonna say if you have stereotypes abotu teh opposite sex in the club scene then already your in the wrong frame of mind. Perfect example is that i have met so many cool girls in the scene and i mean real good people and frineds who are female and are not the stereotypical "GIRL IN CLUB". Now they and i might not have gotten to a dating level but that doesnt mean there not good people and some of them are single as well. And also like i said b4 i met my current g/f at a club and while she doesnt necessarily LOVE HOUSE MUSIC, she knows how much i do and knows how much i love to dance so she goes with me as much as she can and has a good time except 2 times when i just couldnt get off the floor for 1min to sit with her lol. So i think if your planning on meeting someone IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Let it all come to you and then lets have a dance on the floor.

Once a month DEEP on sun has it right with the 718 sessions. Also in BROOKLYN you can go to the TEMPLE on atlantic ave. Or LE SOUK or for the late night madness ASSETERIA at SHOW.

My personal faves are CIELO and SULLIVAN ROOM and honestly with CROBAR you cant go wrong with the talent they bring in as well. And its not about the CLUBS its about THE DJ that is playing and the PARTY.

Im torn between sometimes having 18 or 19 yr old goin to their first parties an not knowing exactly how to act.And of course idont prefer the 28 yr old not knowing anything bout the dj, but would also love the 30yrolds who know everything bout the dj and way more than the 18yr olds who only know a few hins.So if mixed together knwoledge and club etiqutte can be passed down and shared togeher.
