i was there at 615 and he didnt spin until about 650and only played 3 or 4 songs. Didnt even mix just fade in and out very quickyl. Now mind you i have nothing but respect for junior and his accomplishments in this industry and will defend him everytime someone new comes and bashes him without knowing anything. But i really wished he would tried a lil more harder to play for that crowd. Also while i know it was a cd release thingy, these are the times in thispublic spaces to showcase all his talents, and i think he failed at that.

FRIS- Different venues differnt djs depending on what style of DEEPHOUSE you like, but over in brooklyn LANGSTONS has a good party on fri,suns. SAT- Shelter with DJ TIMMY REGISFORD the longest underground dance party in nyc 15yrs in april. Do a search on my posts to find more about it. SUN- Either love,cielo,deep for djs like DANNY KRIVIT 718 SESSIONS monthly party at deep, FRESH FRUIT over at CIELO with QUENTIN HARRIS, STEVE TRAVOLTA last month guest was tony humphries, this month is danny krivit. And love every 2 weeks has JOE CLAUSSELL.

all depends on what type of crowd and music your looking for. I would say on sun night go to le souk, show and then after hrs at a spot in way downtown i forget the name now. Or if you wanna go to brooklyn go to temple. I cant recall if LOVE is open this sunday either.

Newark is famous for holdoing the LEGENDARY club ZANZIBAR where TONY HUMHRIES was resident and djs like larry levan, chip e, francois k, tee scoot, played. Newark is legendary without a doubt. But only thing i guess this person forgot is right now some of those parties and vibes are still goong at nyc. PLces like 718 sessions, temple(brooklyn), shelter, deep see, deep space, roots, alma, sacred rhythm, fresh fruit,etc. With that said, good luck with the party.
